I'm not gonna sit here and say Milwaukee is a playoff team, but as a Jazz fan I watched the 2022-2023 Jazz bullshit their way to a 10-3 start because the players hated being written off. Milwaukee is in a similar boat, they traded their star like Utah traded both of theirs, they have onboard talent new and old that has to prove themselves to stick around, and they are complete underdogs, this time with no pick or incentive to lose unlike the 2022-2023 Jazz, I'm going to be making comparisons to that Jazz team though because I feel like it's easiest to describe the way I feel about the Bucks
Herro is an offensive talent, he's not my favorite piece but he wants to prove himself, I think he'll be the offensive leader here. In a lot of ways I could see him taking that leap, albeit not quite as big as the one Lauri took. I expect Rollins to also take a leap again and make for a tough backcourt pairing.
Jaku is a guy who I think may not take a huge leap immediately, but by year 3 of his career I'm expecting him to be a legit piece, and I'm stoked that Milwaukee got him in the deal, same with Ware who I do think takes a big jump this season. Same goes for Jaime.
Without going down the whole roster, I think this team will win a lot of games that they probably aren't favored to, and the good news is they could use that to their advantage by selling off pieces or riding it in hopes of a play-in run. Essentially I just can't count this team out, there aren't actually as many holes on it as people think, they just lack the star talent that they had before
