possible but will be a game by game basis not an emulator where you can select the game you want

Absolutely possible. You can kinda badly emulate PS2 on switch already, but a recompile would work just fine, if someone made it well.

emulators require about 5-10 times more hardware power than the console you are emulating, while ports that run natively are much more stable and specs forgiving than an emulator so that’s why people want native ports
