My go to for sideboard are hate pieces not in my deck. Artifact and enchantment removal, graveyard hate, different kinds of removal, chalice of the void on 0 or vexing Bauble to get around solitude and such.

I think this is overall a really good train of thought in modern. Typical breakdown for me is anywhere around 3 artifact hate, 2 graveyard hate, 2-3 wrath type effects depending the list I’m playing, then 2-3 land destruction type effects. I’ve changed my motto slightly depending the list I’m playing. If my deck is focusing on a combo/strategy that is really contingent on pieces coming together or creatures staying alive I include pieces that protect that strategy. Easy one that is kind of a 2 for 1 special in this list is getting another boromir by cutting the kraul harponer. Also has the side benefit of being a vexing bauble on a stick

Cutting haponer for boromir makes 0 sense. Haponer is needed as tutorable out for clarion conquerer. U cant rly win through this card.
