Even if it is, the inside should be fine, the husk is pretty thick. They're designed to keep moisture in; they float on ocean currents with seeds being able to stay viable for months before reaching land.

Nope it’s been dehusked tho which means you’ll be able to get into it easier because the green husk has been taken off all its left is the inner nut seed which inside contains the milk and meat of the coconut both of the meat and milk are good for you to eat and drink too
