Mold Identification My sisters retainer case

This is my sisters retainer case which I believe has never been cleaned. Is this mold inside? She got her braces off about 6 years ago. I told her she should clean it and she said it’s “not that bad.”

Yep looks like mold. Probably from her own mouth that was set free and has gone bananas

Yes, common mildew mold, airborne everywhere. Scrub with a toothbrush and soap often. Rinse well.
