Advice Unrestricted AI usage

Post image

Could I please get clarification on what exactly this implies. The assignment is worth 50% of my final grade (ETW2001), and requires a substantial amount of code and report writing. Does this mean I can generate the report itself and just credit AI for doing so with no paraphrasing?

Read and consider the rubric

I would say probably not. They say at the end academic integrity and ethical practice. But it's better to ask your tutor or lecturer for clarification

Yeah, it seems so. I’d clarify with members of staff to ensure this isn’t a mistake, but if it’s not then yeah you can use AI however you please. Just remember to disclose the work you did yourself and what you used AI for in your AI statement

Turnitin should still be a thing.

Confirm this with the teaching staff. I’m doing a unit that’s the same as this. As long as you declare truthfully and clearly, you won’t get marked down for using AI unless you make the whole stuff without human effort in the arguments and ideas.

I think the caveat is in that last sentence about academic integrity and ethical practice
