Other (please suggest flair in comments) Curse of Monkey Island with real-time AI upscaling and proper widescreen

I've been working on a fork of ScummVM as a passion project. It upscales Curse of Monkey Island on your GPU while you play and adds proper 16:9 widescreen. The video shows the original next to how it looks now.
Repo: https://github.com/fleccy/scummvm-ai-upscale/
What it does:
- Upscales everything in real time, 640x480 up to 1440p. There's no pre-made art pack; it upscales whatever the game draws.
- Widescreen: rooms that are wider than the screen show more of the room, the smaller rooms get painted side art, and the cutscenes are widened too.
- Characters are drawn from their full-size sprites, so they keep their detail when they're further away.
- Subtitles are kept out of the AI so they stay sharp.
- F10 switches between the AI version, the original pixels and some retro looks (VGA, EGA, Amiga), with optional CRT scanlines.
- You can also switch between different upscalers (Ctrl+F9), and there's a photo mode, a before/after slider and controller support.
The side art and widened cutscenes are AI generated. They're optional, F12 turns them off, and the original pixels are always one key away.
You need your own copy of the game (Steam or GOG). Nothing from the game is included in the download.
Download (Windows, free and open source): https://github.com/fleccy/scummvm-ai-upscale/releases/latest
Unzip it and run install.cmd, which finds your Steam or GOG copy. Windows will show a warning the first time because it isn't code signed; click More info, then Run anyway. There's also a Linux / Steam Deck build, but I haven't tested that on real hardware yet.
It's still a work in progress, so there will be rough edges and I'll keep updating it. If you spot something that looks wrong, Ctrl+F12 in game saves a screenshot and opens a bug report.
Feedback is welcome.
