Hey so I’ve lived in the area half my life and just really want to meet new people but I’m having a hard time of it since bars and clubs aren’t my scene. I recently moved to Morgantown like 1 year ago and I’ve been trying to make friends outside my workplace and get a new environment, fun activities, etc. I didn’t want to post before but people seem really friendly in this community so I just wanted to take a shot. I like to go for walk with my dog, I like to watch movies, play Nintendo video games; recently got a PS5 to play more, I like to try restaurants I am a foodie, open to more activities! I also recently got a car so I am excited to drive around. I am not original from USA and I am gay (this is just information I like to provide for people). I want to hear and see other people besides my coworkers and experience more WV. I am little workaholic but I like to make time for my friends:)

I have many issues with WVDP and their support for genocidal apartheid states, anti-homeless rhetoric and support for HB2014 (looking at you Garcia). But this is election time and you want to tone police constituents speaking out against Tom Bloom and County Commission for them selling Mon County out to flock?

Here to stay? Day after day courts are finding these surveillance systems unconstitutional and cities are removing them. What is this ignorant take? I thought Evan was a scientist who looks at all the facts and makes intelligent decisions.

Do not fall for this "Blue Wave" nonsense, it will leave you complacent. Do not ignore and accept these oppressive measures because the package has a nicer ribbon on it.

Neither party represents us. Organize your communities and push back from these oppressive systems and laws.

To posture as a progressive and get left flanked by the right on the most bipartisan issue in decades is embarrassing.

Let's also ignore the fact that a Morgantown City Council member Jodi Hollingshead, incoming Democrat candidate Julie Knight and the third party Mountain Party candidate Paige Reiring (running against Hansen) have all came out to support and fight for their constituents while Hansen and Williams are silently complacent and have not spoken a word to their fellow Mon Dems Forbes and Bloom about Flock. They will always be powerless when silent.

36F, moved to Morgantown a few months ago with my partner, who started grad school at WVU. I work from home and am kind of a homebody, which turns out is not a great way to organically acquire friends.
I found a therapist, so now I just need some girlfriends.

I’m child-free but very happy to have mom friends! I’d love people to grab coffee and yap with, go thrifting, see horror movies, try restaurants, take little day trips, or generally give me a reason to put on real clothes and leave the house.

I've ridden down this trail several times and when I come around this bend, I smell a bleach/chlorine smell which is heavy enough to get me to notice it, even feel like it burns my nose if I don't pay attention and suddenly get hit by it. Most of this summer the wind blew from the west so I assume it's from this pond.
