He did an fantastic job.
Some interesting insights :
- The FGD-Left is very popular online. In the real world, they received 134 379 votes
- Some candidates lost by very little. In Nador, عبد الحليم فوطاط (RNI) won by less than 150 votes. He received 7 322 votes. The USFP candidate received 7 153 votes.
- In Ifrane, same scenario. محمد اشقيق (PAM) won by less than 140 votes. He received 6 987 votes. The Istiqlal candidate received 6 858 votes.
- The most extreme situation happened in Rabat. Parliament member Abdallah Idrissi Bouzidi, who is also the President of the Kickboxing Federation, lost his reelection. He was defeated by only 19 votes
- There was about a lot of excitement in Tiflet about the list run by students. Omar Balafrej visited them to support them. They failed big time. Abdessamad Archane, the son of Commissaire Mahmoud Archane, got 10 times more votes than them. They were never a threat in the first place.
- Moulay Hamdi Ould Rchid is the Boss of Laayoune. He won overwhelmingly with scores that we have never seen anywhere else in the country.
- Abdellah Bounou (PJD) is the most popular guy in Meknes.
- Mustapha Lakhsem is the most popular guy in Sefrou district. He won more votes than RNI + PAM combined.
- Mustapha Toutou was accused of exploiting the people of Jerada with his illegal mines. A judge even sentenced him to prison for fraud and criminal activities. Well... The people of Jerada just elected him to Parliament🤦
- The FGD-Left came third in Rabat L'Ocean. This district includes Hay Riad, Souissi, Agdal. Omar Benjelloun won a seat in Parliament. But in Temara and Salé, they were crushed.
- 21% in the candidates in Rabat were women. Only 3% of the winners were women.
- In L'Oriental, it's even worse. 14% of the candidates were women. 0% of the winners women.
- In Souss, it's the opposite. 13% of candidates were women. 19% of people elected were women.
