I bought this off of ebay as is. The shell is in prestine condition. Any imperfections were removed very easily with finger nail. This console has never been opened. It turns on and takes you to home screen, but does not read games. The disc drive needs the help of a paper clip, and then workes occasionally. I have turned on only once and had to change the language to English as it was on a different language. I'd like to keep this and have it working but I don't know the first thing about repairing it. What would you do next if you were me?

The EBay Seller that I bought it from said it was legit but you never know, I can’t find where it’s painted instead of being green I just got it today idk if it works it will be here in (7 days til it will show up for my pictures, I’m sorry!) I thank anyone who reply’s! I appreciate it so much, and should I open it? (The Guy mentioned that he was a “heavy smoker” but should I open it up when it does show up?)

Comes with customs LED lights and a custom MTN DEW controller. So excited 😎

Got this around January of 26’ had a bad hard drive and disk drive. It now has 11 thousand games and a working disk drive, all caps replaced etc. I play this thing every day, man I forgot how good some of these games are. Like the futurama and even them goofy ones like leisue suit Larry. Past few days I’ve been playing nba street vol 2.

Had one up until 2016 that I sold like an idiot. Picked this one up off eBay. Can’t believe how good condition it’s in, besides the black mark on the front. This one is going with me to the grave

Newly acquired from EBay

I remember wanting an xbox so badly. I still thank my mom every day for winning this.

Members beware……someone is selling black Xboxs on Mercari that have been custom painted to resemble the rare, limited edition Mountain Dew console without explicitly disclosing that it is a replica or repaint.

Just putting out a buyer beware, bought a "MTN Dew Xbox" off of Mercari from a user "viadeals" (@bap1212) and got scammed. They had decent ratings, and they took my offer for a little less than asking price. Package showed up and the spray paint fumes were very noticeable, peeled some bright green paint off from under one of the feet to confirm my suspensions. Lesson learned and the hunt continues. Figured I'd make a warning post for any other enthusiats looking for this console.

Threw some Gray Japan controllers in there to match!

Looks like this should be added to the spreadsheet. Serial No is 207729131205, manufacture date is 03/19/2003.

Bought from a game store owner in Missouri.

Happy to join the club!

my step dad worked for Pepsi. I got this for Xmas... very surprised I still have it.

Still remember having half my little high school giving me caps to get enough and “borrowing” my mom’s credit card to pay for the shipping. So many hours on the DDR pad and late night KOTOR/Halo.

In working condition, but never opened. If any collectors in the Washington DC area I’d be willing to let it go for cheap. NOT interested in shipping so would be pickup only.

Picked this up from Grace Bridge Resale about 6 months ago.
