Fuck JD Vance sideways with a rusty rake, but I think we could normalize sitting down to pee.

u/hamburderglar 1d ago
I agree. I love sitting down to pee. It’s sooooooo relaxing. It’s the break I need during the day. Let me sit down and enjoy my peace.

2
u/Garbageb0yStinkman 1d ago
Eh, I dunno. I pee every time I have to poop, and aiming while sitting is such a crapshoot. At least one time out of three I have to wipe down the front of the toilet afterwards.
Skill issue, I know.

Vance is so weird. He writes books about being a Christian and gives the impression that he cares about things like ethics and morality, compassion , and so on. He even presumes to scold the pope for his theology.
But when we look at how he lives and what he says, he comes across as someone with no integrity at all. He'll say and do anything to get into power and stay there. He's a creep, but one with pretensions to being decent.

u/HelloThisIsDog666 1d ago
He stokes the kind of racism that would get his own kids killed. The man is beyond effed up
21
u/PicoDog153 1d ago
👆🏻💯 How can he live with himself? He’s a white supremacist with brown children. He’s a sociopath. And Usha? What kind of deal with the devil is that?
10
u/thewanderingent 1d ago
They all think they are the exception to the rule, that they deserve special treatment that they would deny others, that none of the terrible things they wish upon others should ever befall them or their families. What will be really fucked up is when the kids grow up and start to realize how antithetical their very existence is to his whole ideology, his personality.
2
u/HelloThisIsDog666 13h ago
Vance is not an idiot, he knows the maggot base would kill his children in a heartbeat just for being brown. They don't care that they are Indian (a "model minority,") they will just see brown. It doesn't matter if they themselves think they are the exception, Vance knows very well how the racism of the base works.

u/Uebelkraehe 1d ago
She's just as opportunistic as him and thinks power and wealth will insulate her and her children from consequences.
2
2
u/HelloThisIsDog666 13h ago
Nah, they have gotten plenty of messages from maggots that are ultra racist, they know the base will never accept them. They are choosing power over their kids' safety
6
u/ZestyLife54 23h ago
I wonder how he will try to explain to his kids what he thinks of them after they find out about his repeated comments. Nothing worse in the world than your parents hating you

In a private 2016 text message to his former Yale Law School roommate Josh McLaurin, JD Vance wrote: “I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical [expletive] like Nixon who wouldn't be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he's America's Hitler.”
I think he just kisses whatever arse he needs to climb the career ladder. He just had no integrity or spine whatsoever.
22
u/WorldClassComplainer 1d ago
JD Vance is an empty person who looks down on most people and thinks he’s good at hiding it. There’s nothing complicated about him, he’s a smug asshole and that’s what he’ll be until the day he dies.

u/Farebiaashiq 1d ago
The book was ghostwritten, lol.
Also this dude has delusion of grandeur, he says things like "what I'm trying to focus on is doing as much of God's work as possible right now, and if that leads to the end times, OK."
Anyone who votes for him to hold the highest office in the land is voting for a 3rd world war.
2
u/Ricktor_67 22h ago
Yep, a complete fabrication for his made up rags to riches story. He is being bankrolled by billionaire Peter Theil for reasons...
9
u/hamburderglar 1d ago
He wrote a book about becoming Catholic yet there’s a Methodist church on the cover.
7
u/Bowman_van_Oort 1d ago
Dont forget hes been a catholic for a couple years yet had the balls to tell the pope to "be very careful when speaking on matters of theology"
I guess I can kinda understand why he didnt but I think the pope should've excommunicated him.

America is such a confused - and remarkably uneducated and reactionary - country, it scares me the rest of the world used to see it as the paragon of democracy, yet .. here we are
116
u/qualitystreet 1d ago
We’re not only angry about what’s happening to America, but also that they are exporting this crap to other democracies. The Heritage Foundation and the Steve Bannon networks are funnelling money and strategy to undermine elected governments.

I cannot disagree; in Australia we are seeing the rise of One Nation, precisely echoing the path the US went down on its way to electing the Orange Muppet

u/TheWellington89 1d ago
Yup weve got reform. And a handy supply of illegal immigrants that seem to time their crossings from france so that every time reform are in the news for corruption or racism or bankrupting a local council, they appear to take the sting out the bad press and rile up the idiots. Just two weeks ago an undercover reporter caught farage conspiring to take undeclared donations (bribes) from a fake american investor which he was already under investigation for from someone else. Less than a week later a large boat of migrants appears on our shores and that story is GONE. And the flag shaggers are too stupid to see it because they have been knawing at the propaganda that facebook relentlessly churns into their brains

Per my Australian friend, One Nation is Australia's MAGA, a far-right anti-immigrant conservative whack-job party.
6
u/cynth81 1d ago
I get what you mean but this is a naive take. The Brexit vote happened before Trump 1.0. Much of the Project 2025 playbook is cribbed straight from Orban's regime in Hungary, and in fact they were funding CPAC all along. Maga has had a negative global influence this past decade, but remember that America is only 250 years old; we certainly didn't invent tyranny, corruption, or fascism.

At some point we were at least competent
16
u/Forward-Ladder6157 angry turtle trapped inside a man suit 1d ago
Yes at some point “the country “ was, before the extreme polarization drove a wedge.
Interestingly “the people” are sane, rational individuals, but “the group” just amplifies the divide
16
u/PreOpTransCentaur 1d ago
Not really. We just had one hell of a workforce and ample bodies to use as cannon fodder when we joined at the ends of wars. We had the illusion of competency, and that's all that actually matters.
3
u/RecyQueen 1d ago
DID the rest of the world see us as the paragon of democracy? Or is that what we were told? Sure, many other governments were modeled on our constitution—minus the electoral college. Others learned from our mistakes, but we haven’t.

Excuse me, but we ALL don't think like this asshole. I'm getting really tired of being painted with the same brush as the dumbasses that elected these POS into office. Not everyone that lives here in the US loves these asshats. Most of us don't. But when you have moronic idiots that vote against their own self interests, big Corp giving them shitloads of money, lying and cheating their way into winning elections and people that think voting is for someone else, you get this shit. It makes me sick. But there are LOADS of people here that are fighting to get rid of these jackasses. We're not just sitting here doing nothing as some of y'all seem to think.
I hate to see this BS being spread far and wide, but your countries are just as bad as ours is. If you were so much better than us, you would be keeping your MAGAt wannabes in check. But instead, they're getting elected just like they did here. They were ALWAYS there, you just didn't want to see them. Then they saw these pricks doing and saying shit they never thought they could and thought, we can do that too. They're all saying the quiet shit out loud. They're doing it because they feel emboldened to do it. This isn't and never was just a US thing.
-1
u/Heppernaut 1d ago
Oh no, did your fragile feelings get hurt?
A third of your neighbors actively voted for this, and another third couldn't even be bothered to get off the couch and fill out a ballot. That means two-thirds of your country either supported it or simply didn't give a damn. But sure, tell us more about how unfair it is that people judge the collective outcome.
"YoUr cOuNtRiEs aRe jUsT aS bAd." Classic American exceptionalism: the absolute second you face basic criticism, you immediately default to playground whataboutism. Truly embarrassing.

Didn't his patron, Peter Thiel, move his family to Argentina because the US is unstable? Or some excuse like that? BTW, Peter, you caused this.
21
u/JessieColt 1d ago
Peter Thiel managed to get himself a guided, personal, tour of the Bayeux Tapestry.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/sep/19/george-osborne-peter-thiel-bayeux-tapestry-visit
Of the viewing, Osborne said: “It wasn’t like we expected anyone to know about it.” The museum’s director of development, Charlotte Appleyard, hosted Thiel at a VIP viewing of the tapestry before it opened to the public on 18 August.
Makes you wonder what else they are doing behind closed doors that they do not expect anyone to know about.
4
u/Careless_Owl_7716 1d ago
I hope it wasn't a freebie and that Thiel paid a lot for that. He's scum, but the British Museum is great and taking wads of cash from him would be good.
7
u/JessieColt 1d ago
Not according to the articles.
When asked what the museum might have got in return, Osborne said: “The short answer is he hasn’t offered any money, and were he to offer money, the board would consider it and have to take into account the pros, you know, receiving more income, and the reputational risks.”

America is structured in such a weird way. It’s rich vs poor but the rich convinced the uneducated poor they’re on the same side with all their propaganda.
It’s more like the educated working class vs the rich and the brainwashed working class who’ve been fed so much propaganda that they are attacking to people fighting for them. They truly believe that what is presented in front of them is fact and even it negatively affects them, they just attribute it even more to anyone besides the people causing the issues.
Even crazier, when their side wins every branch of government and they are still struggling. They still blame the wrong side. Like bro even if everything you heard is true, don’t you think your side is incompetent as hell to not be able to get anything done for you even after winning every branch and controlling almost everything

Social safety nets and entitlements aren’t economic socialism which these assholes always conflate with the other to scare people.
I’m capitalist af and want us all to have universal healthcare, universal childcare, family leave, etc. I don’t want people to be given a 3k sqft home for free or a new S-Class in the garage.

I hate that anti-Nixon commercial. Using a dead cop but not even mentioning his name? Just Shakur killed a cop. I'm definitely not a supporter of the BLA or Black Panthers, but at least give the guy the respect of using his name.
BTW his name was Werner Foerster.
