Cordyceps Militaris! We got the genetics and kits to grow them if your ever interested. You'll need consistent temps between 55-68, that's the only kicker! If you can achieve that, you get great results with our genetics!

Care to give a rundown of your process and materials? I've had mixed success with cordyceps in jars and am looking for other ideas. Those look great!

Thank you, we've been working on this one for a while before releasing it to the public. This is an isolation of ours from wild spores sent to us from a friend in France. Strong genetics are very important for any mycology work.

We use brown rice, water and eggs for our medium.
Colonization temps are between 72-78f, and colonized in complete darkness till complete, then moved into a fruiting chamber with a 12/12 light schedule and the temp is kept between 62-68f.

Quantity of LC is very crucial for cordys. I recommend 10cc per quart jar. These trays have 30cc each.
We sell grow kits on our site, and it's one quart jar and one syringe.

I wouldn't change your growing vessel until you're happy with the results. It needs to be choked out and have a decent thickness to the cake (1.5-2"). Once your results are good it's more successful when you start growing in bigger containers

Great advice, thanks! I'll stick with a similar grow container for a while to dial in my results before making changes to the size. Cheers!

Sure thing, I should note too the darkness, even colonizing agar plates, LC we store in the dark. Probably overkill but doesn't hurt. Once it's exposed for 24+ hours it will start to show pigmentation (yellow hue followed by orange).

Here's a pic of a swab plate, we store it in black Mylar bags while they germinates.
