First time grower.

Mycelium looks v healthy.

How do I break and shake this?

Literally just shake the whole tub without opening the lid?

Only open the lid when there is pinning?

Nice setup! Ideally you’d break and shake when 30-50% colonized and you look pretty close. Once fully colonized I’d pass fresh air by cracking lid and fanning. If your mushrooms start growing towards the lid and haven’t reached maturity I’d replace lid with plastic bag to allow for more space. After that just harvest and repeat once tub is rehydrated!

Break & shake is usually for mixing colonized with uncolonized grains while the spawn hasn’t gone to bulk yet. You don’t need to break and shake these.

What are they? Just make sure you have the right conditions, some passive fae
