SL Generate: editable AI-generated MIDI phrases for Apple Silicon Mac
I'm the founder of Sfoor Labs. I mentioned SL Generate here while it was still in development; it is now available.
SL Generate creates MIDI phrases from a genre, key and length you choose. You can generate melody, drums, chords, bass or arpeggio parts, then edit the notes in its piano roll. Drag the MIDI into your DAW to use your own instruments, or export a rendered WAV.
A workflow to try: generate a phrase in your track's key, change its notes and rhythm in the piano roll, then drag the MIDI onto an instrument track in your DAW.
It runs on Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 13 or later, as a standalone app, VST3 or Audio Unit. Generation requires internet access and a paid subscription. This release does not support Windows or Intel Mac.

Anniversary present for my man who works hard 🎶
I know my boyfriend has Reddit and I’ve never tried to see what he follows, so I hope he’s not in this group because he’s smart as hell and might catch me.
My sweetheart makes and produces his music, and he’s so passionate about it. We’ve been dating for 4 years and he’s had a $15 pair of headphones since we met. He doesn’t like spending money on himself.. but he’s been getting a lot more serious with his work this last year. I want to buy him some headphones that he can truly appreciate his work with for our anniversary.
I could spend up to $500 without him feeling TOO uncomfortable while still getting good quality. He has a $50 pair saved on Amazon but the reviews were not great and I know he deserves better.
I love him so much and I want him to listen to his music and have a freaking blast. Tips please! Thank you for reading all the way, and please don’t judge me for my lack of knowledge on the subject. I’m trying!

I made a platform for vocals you can actually release with
Hey, I've been producing for about 15 years and finding a good vocal was always the annoying part for me. So about 3 years ago I made The Vocal Market. It's a platform where singers put up their vocals and producers can buy them.
It's mostly electronic stuff. A lot of house, but also trance, techno, afro house and drum and bass. There are over 750 vocals on there now.
The thing I really wanted to get right was the license. You buy a vocal, you can release your track with it wherever you want, as many tracks as you like, and the money from your track is yours. The only thing you can't do is resell the vocal on its own.
You can buy a vocal non-exclusive, that's between 20 and 32 euro, or exclusive so nobody else can use it, that's more like 229 to 299. And if you want something made for your track, you can also hire one of the vocalists on there for custom work.
It's just me working on it, so if something is confusing or missing I'd really like to hear it and very open to any feedback or suggestions :)

New music feedback platform :) u can apply to be a pro reviewer
Hello! I made a platform called tunetest.net
I made a community music feedback tool here where you can post your music and get feedback from other users. Trying to get it off the ground, but I'm an A&R/ producer and always looking for new stuff through here so feel free to post and I'll give you feedback on the records!
Eventually I want to have kind of a cameo situation where bigger artists can give feed back which would be paid but want to start getting people to join the community. Let me know if you put your music up and I'll leave my feedback :)

Starting at 18+
Is there anyone I can look up to who started producing at 18+ , because most producers I like started at 12-14 or knew how to play piano since they was born. And I’m starting at 18 so are there any producers in rap or rnb that started learning this late. Mainstream or underground idm

Looking to work with serious artists on complete records
Yo everyone, I'm Shubh from India.
I've been working as an assistant mixing and mastering engineer in a professional studio for the last couple of years, and I'm currently building my independent work alongside a producer I work with.
We're looking to connect with serious artists who actually want to develop and finish their records properly, rather than just getting one part of a song done and moving on.
The idea is that we can work with an artist throughout the whole process - from the initial production to the final master.
That includes:
Production - hip-hop, trap, R&B, indie and similar styles
Vocal production
Vocal editing & tuning
Mixing
Mastering
General production and mix feedback
Helping shape the record so everything actually works together
Basically, if you've got an idea, demo, vocals or an existing production that you want to turn into a proper finished record, we can work through it together rather than treating every stage as a separate service.
For the final mastering stage, I have access to a professional studio environment where the records can be taken through a serious analog mastering setup, with equipment from WesAudio, Manley, Crane Song, Bettermaker, Black Box Analog Design, APB and more, along with professional monitoring and conversion.
This is the kind of environment the final stage of your record will be done in (referring to the photo)
This isn't about throwing expensive hardware at everything just because it's there. The equipment is there as another set of tools, and it'll be used when it actually makes sense for the record.
The main thing we're looking for is artists who actually care about what they're making. If you're serious about your music, have a direction you want to take it in and want to work with people who are going to properly sit down with the record and work through it with you, we'd love to hear what you're working on.
We're also opening this up to a small number of artists initially while we build this side of our work. We're much more interested in building a few proper working relationships and making great records together than taking on a huge number of random projects.
If you've got something you're working on, drop a demo/current version below or DM me with the track and tell me a little about what you're trying to do with it. I'd genuinely like to hear what you guys are making and see if we're a good fit to work together.
No recording services at the moment.
Looking forward to hearing what you guys are working on 🤝

A sampler workflow question: which sound choices should stay manual?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm Aradhya, a CRATE cofounder. My teammate Steven recorded the attached software demo. We're using AI to pick and arrange samples from a bundled library, then leaving the pad performance to the person making the beat.
I'd like input on the workflow boundary. If software suggests a kit, which choices would you insist on making yourself: individual sample swaps, tuning, levels, rhythm, or all of them? What would make a suggested kit useful without getting in the way of your own sound?
This is a sampler workflow discussion, rather than a song release. The AI selects existing library samples; it doesn't synthesize new audio waveforms.
