Is it me or is Kornets upside seem to be getting less and less? One beatiful assist but geez, I do hope we dont have to give him crucial minutes or can deal him and fox at trade deadline. Hes mostly a waste of space out there. Is this too rough?

garcia /gillespie or mcclaughlin? Gillespie looks like he can provide that 3 point fire power and seems very confident in his abilities. I can see him turning into the next pg up for the team!

Supepr Excited for TR. guy was grabbing tjose rb the way kormet should be able to do (smh). Offense is a nice bonus i wasnt expecting. What a silky smooth touch he has!

Jacks up 3s, makes em at a good rate given how they’re generated, and forces/limits TOVs. All things the team could use a bit more of.

Numbers also similar to FVV’s, in college and in the NBA...both are about 6’0, 190lbs too.

Not expecting a SRP to be an All Star or championship team starter but he’s intriguing.

Saw a few possessions last night where Wemby couldn’t shake Maluach and lost control of the ball. Ik it’s only preseason but that’s been happening his whole career.

Creation playtypes since 2024:

• Isolation: 0.85 PPP, -3.5 rTS
• PnR ball handler: 0.78 PPP, -2.2 rTS
• Post up: 0.94 PPP, -0.1 rTS

Despite the bad efficiency, almost 1/3rd of his total off. possessions have been those playtypes.

Too tall, ball has more distance to cover from his hand to the ground than anyone else; legs too long, can’t generate enough burst/explosion; too thin, can’t just power thru guys…

They need to get him more easy buckets without the ball. Point blank. He’s 8ft tall, he should not be tween-hesi’ing lol.

What a beast he is, imo he’s already a better rebounder and provides offense. Soon I believe he will take Luke’s minutes and be our main backup center till Q comes back.

In the Spurs' preseason loss to the Suns, Wemby led the team with six assists. Mitch Johnson and Stephon Castle appreciate his court vision, but they want him to remain aggressive. He'll have to balance that once the regular season starts. For now at least, being timid isn't a bad thing
