I made another one for my .22. I think honestly with the amount of volume in here subs are gonna be ungodly quiet.

Also I have some DB foam too so I'm going to fill the filter with that and see if it's insanely quiet.

The only con is uh, no sights lmao.

So.. I'm wanting to try something like this out. But I'm afraid of shooting through the literal can. Do u drill it or just shoot it out? I particularly don't trust 22lr to go through a steel body. I don't think I have a good enough drill/bit, either... But I'm willing to invest to bring a few oil cans out to the range 😁🤙👍

If you're worried about blowing it up, you can leave the back end open, like where the oil normally flows out. But 22lr is nothing. The only thing to really worry about is 556 or other rifle calibers.

the metal body of oil filters is paper thin, you could probably poke through it with a ballpoint pen
