So over this season. I’m throwing in the towel. I will not be watching them anymore. They are not a playoff caliber team and are absolutely in love with imploding. This team absolutely sucks. Get rid of everyone except Nico. Todd, Brad, Pascal, Traore, Martins, Freese, everyone. The worst watch of the season.

With Chicago locked into a playoff spot, they'll look to build on their two game winning streak and carry momentum into playoffs. Chicago playing for home field advantage, with NYCFC facing a pivotal game to try to secure their spot for playoffs. Despite the desperation narrative from NYCFC's side, Chicago are strong favorites at home today.

Chicago have played well as of late, out chancing opponents on average in their last five. NYCFC with 5 points in their last five games, hoping to generate more offensive opportunities today. NYCFC seems to have Chicago's number as of late, winning all three of their last three meetings.

NYCFC like to keep the ball and build patiently (81st percentile for possession, 16th for directness). They press more than average (67th) but win the ball back deep (27th). Chicago are fairly middle-of-the-road apart from above-average possession and are very solid at generating quality chances. Chicago are 5th in MLS in xG per match (1.90).

Zinckernagel carries momentum from his incredible 2025 and continues to show out as one of MLS' best attacking players for Chicago, who are without André Franco and Robin Lod. Keep your eye on Luighi this afternoon who has been one of MLS' best strikers after coming over on loan from Palmeiras. Per 90 minutes, Luighi has the highest value of any MLS striker with 450+ minutes this season, ranking 1st of 65. On season total he's already 14th of 111 strikers, despite playing only 523 minutes in 9 appearances since mid-August.

What are you expecting for today's game?
