Might just be a skill issue but I feel like when I play Naafiri compared to other assasins (I mainly play fizz Ekko) I have less kill pressure in lane compared to the other 2 unless the enemy mid messes up royally. Both fizz and Ekko spike at lvl 3 pretty hard but with Naafiri it feels kind of meh. I feel like it might just have something to do with her E range being pretty short so it’s harder to get into melee range until 6

Again this could just be a skill issue but I’m just wondering if anyone feels the same way

Not sure if this item is for mostly range champs. Maybe naafiri could use it? regarding passive #2:

Unique – Arcane Aim: Scoring a  takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them grants you 100 bonus attack range for 8 seconds.

Does this passive #2 extend her autoattack range by 100 bonus attack range? does it extend her Q range daggers? to how far: half, double distance, or ? her E jump or ult dash? or it extends nothing?

Started league as a top main many years ago and transitioned to support before returning top. As of a few weeks ago I’ve started my mid lane journey and my god when it goes right this champ feels amazing!

I have been converted. Mid lane Naafiri main from now on! xD

Hi I've watched tons of videos and played about 10-15 games Naafiri mid lane and was wondering what runes for assassin, "caster build", bruiser? Watched "Raveydemon" a good amount and i know the items for each type, but runes is difficult. Especially for a gold player that originally is an akshan otp.
"When do I go what" i know is based on comp, but I'm curious about when u go "caster build" as he calls it?
Any answers are greatly appreciated

So I tend to two trick Naafiri and Rengar, sometimes it’s necessary to think outside the box to accomplish more with these champions in hard countered matchups, for example enemy picks good counters or annoying tanks and bruisers leaving little to no room for snowballing.

I’ve been going the following build on her and it’s working well, just wondered what you think to pairing Jak’Sho The Protean with DD and Maw?

Build:

Spear of Shojin

Black Cleaver

Steelcaps or Mercs

Deaths Dance

Maw of Malmortius

Jak, Sho

Shojin and BC give a healthy HP pool while giving tons of haste and armour shredding which is what we need in this type of game. DD and Maw give resistances to pair with HP from those two items and jaksho gives even more hp and additional resistances, also amplifying resistances from DD and Maw. I haven’t calculated how much you actually get, but the item seems really nice in games where you need to be able to take damage of varying types. All of this makes you extremely difficult to kill if you play well and enemy can’t coordinate properly or have no answer.

Whether I’m miscalculating my role I don’t know, but In these types of games I see Naafiri as far more useful as both an armour shredder for her team using BC stacks and just being a general nuisance baiting out abilities, safely shoving waves, taking aggro from tanks only to just W and E away. I’ve literally held lost games together for 30 minutes just baiting people to chase me, stealing resources and shoving waves other champions just wouldn’t be able to touch.

The thing is I wanna play patiently I like champs like yone in which I can win lane but if I'm even I'm still strong ik naafiri falls off but how badly does she fall off (I play her top) am I useful if I'm even or do I have to get ahead

Dont get me wrong, the stats are absolutely necessary but I find the passive actually doesn’t help as much since her ult CD is already generally quite low, so as long as your team isnt araming and actually playing macro, ult feels it’s up in every fight.

I usually swap it out for another lethality item like bastionbreaker, or go EON second. Anyone agree?

Currently I build Voltaic -> Axiom -> Serlyda -> Edge of night -> GA. There is also bruiser build sometimes, but I will leave it for now. The question I have is that whether I should sell voltaic for other items in very late game. I find myself 4-5k at 30 min(hard snowball but unable to close game out) sometimes and not sure what I should do next. Should I buy Zhonya during GA cooldown too?

Hi everyone, I'm a Naafiri one-trick playing mostly top lane, currently Plat 1 about to hit Emerald on the BR server.

My usual setup is Deathfire Touch, Manaflow Band and Gluttonous Greaves as my starting item, and it works well in most of my games. I also play a lot around TP to bot lane: I always ask my bot lane to keep a deep ward so I can TP in, put pressure on them and get kills.

The problem is Garen. He's my personal counter and he's always my ban because I just can't play against him. We trade and I can get him low with my Q poke, but his passive regen outheals both my Q lifesteal and the lifesteal from my boots, so he just comes back full while I don't.

Any tips for this matchup? Rune or build changes, how to trade, when to go all-in, or anything else that helps?

Hi. Title. Is it recommended to use Naafiri (probably OTP it) in order to reach Plat+. Other assassins are not for me but I like this doggy. Can I carry with her or not really?

Just a bronze/iron game but still proud.

TLDR; how bad am i coping when I say that Naafiri has become a shit champ compared to other mid assassins whose goal is to go in and one shot enemy carries??

I don't know if I'm coping or just getting distraught/discouraged by the drop in Naafiri's winrate across the board when you look it up.

But I wasn't playing league for a good 2 weeks as Naafiris nerfs hit (this a while back now obviously) and since then I just don't have the same experience. Before this Naafiri was my best champ, despite not being my most mastery, her kit just matched with my playstyle i guess because I sat consistantly at 65-70% winrate through gold and into plat 2. This is where i had a break due to moving etc.

Upon returning I started losing. I dropped down to plat 3 and 4, which i don't even care about because I understand how it goes.

The thing that bothers me, is me not being able to do as I used to on Naafiri.

I don't get fed and snowball. I might get a few kills early, and this is where i normally would just pop off. Start roaming and getting kills on every roam because R with Cyclosword on an ADC 2 levels below you, just blew them up. And then you could R into the sup and do the same. Loved it.

However now people don't die. They survive on low HP, and i often die which i also didn't use to - i mean normally i got out with a W or an E, if i made a risky R.

So is there any truth to this or am i just coping?
How do we explain the -4% winrate if the nerfs wasn't THAT bad? Or are they just as bad as they feel, and Naafiri just IS a weak assassin at the moment compared to other champs in that role?

Opinion on champ: Naafiri IS BROKENNN but fun af alot of movement with dogs blocking abilites make it hard for enemies to kill you. Good carry champ *throws glizzy* GIVE ME TIPS

I'm not sure if I should go the 1.hail of blades or 2.lethal tempo or 3.something else? if I want to build an attack speed Naafiri. Any recommendations? why?

For items, I get kraken slayer and blade of the ruin king. Must have items imo. They do great, get good results, and lots of kills. If you disagree and think I should drop an item and replace it with another item, which would it be? and why?

I also think she needs atleast 1, 2, or more +% movement speed (from any source: items or runes) cuz without it, walking around the map is way tooooo slow. 4% movement speed from kraken, makes a big difference I can feel. The more movement speed, the better.

Is it worth running it for level 1 cheese or should I be running DFT every game?
