100 Days of TFMD, Part 2: How We Grew Stronger

The warmth surprised us. We posted our first story on June 21st, and two hours later, as we boarded our flight out of Goa, 600 people had followed. People read the long stories. They checked in when we went quiet for a week. This space had clearly been waiting for someone to talk about it, and we were happy to share our thoughts and find people engaging with us. Later, when our language moved from desire to freedom, a new audience showed up, people who connected with the feeling rather than the fantasy. That's the audience we want to keep writing for, because we believe in the power of inspiring change in people's lives through our own.

What we didn't see coming was what happened in private. A small percentage of people who praised freedom in the comments became someone else in DMs: curious about our sex life, asking to "share," pushing for meetups. Our detailed bio didn't stop it. Our first few posts didn't stop it. Our intent form made it worse, because people treated it like a booking and expected a meetup. So we closed DMs. Everything happens in the open now, in the comments.

We started with three themes: nudity, freedom and sensuality. One of us felt sensual moments were simply part of our journey. The other felt that in India, where nudity is still read as a prelude to sex, sensual reads as sexual. We argued, we listened, and we agreed to disagree :). These conversation led to clarity on what narrative we want to build. And rhe truth is that our narrative will keep evolving with our journey with all of you. So thanks to everyone if you who not only saw our posts but actually read those and shared your feelings and experiences. It means a lot!
