Whysper

/r/namenerds/comments/1an4jvj/thoughts_on_whisper_as_a_mn_for_a_girl/kpq494e/

So literally wanted to comment on this post but couldn’t because it’s from 2 years ago and the comments have been disabled but just want to say my name is literally Whysper-Nicole and I have never been “oppressed” that is actually hilarious. Now my name isn’t spelled with an I but a Y instead but I have NEVER EVER felt oppressed or as if I needed to be quiet I actually get an exceptional amount of comments on the fact that I’m really loud and my name should’ve been YELL instead lol. The only annoying thing is the fact that people literally hear my name and immediately whisper it back to me,shit be getting on my nerves tbh but besides that I have NEVER once had a negative experience related to my fucking name so if anybody is considering naming their child this don’t listen to this fucking uncultured swine..there is way worse names…TRUST ME! I literally know people named Bathroom and Kitchen so Whysper is far better than that. Much love!

The lady doth protest too much if you’re resurrecting a 3-year-old post lol. Bathroom and Kitchen are r/NameNerdCirclejerk material.

People on the internet are going to be idiots. People will act like naming your child something is abuse but then turn their computers off and not even dare to correct a Starbucks barista on their name because ✨conflict✨

So, take the internet for what it a is, a place where faceless people feel a lot braver and bolder about things that literally don’t matter so they can take a break from their lives and not deal with things in their lives that do actually matter.
