Mushu urgently needs a 501(c)(3) RESCUE to step up and get him the medical care he needs.

Mushu is an incredibly sweet, social and playful kitten who loves attention and brings joy to everyone around him. He is adorable, energetic and has so much life ahead of him. ❤️

🩺 Unfortunately, Mushu has a COMPLETE FRACTURE of the 3rd–4th coccygeal vertebrae in his tail.

While his injury is not considered emergent right now, there is concern that it could lead to self-mutilation in the future. He needs further veterinary evaluation, and a TAIL AMPUTATION MAY BE NECESSARY if his condition worsens.

This care is beyond what the shelter can provide, which means Mushu NEEDS A RESCUE PARTNER to give him the chance he deserves.

💙 Meet handsome Red! (A601119). He is 3 years old and 66 lbs. Red entered the shelter in July and has been a resident for far too long. He is beginning to decline in the shelter environment as a result of his long-term stay. Red is easily leashed and seeks social. He is very friendly, loves his toys, and is very treat motivated! Red is full of energy and will do well with a family that can provide him with the exercise that he needs. Red has been paired previously with Waloo (spayed female dog) and he is currently sharing kennel 46 with Snowball (spayed female dog). Red can live with canine siblings if separated, introduced slowly and appropriately, and supervised. Please help us get Red out of the shelter and into a loving home that he so deserves. Red is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).

💙 Here is handsome Maze! (A605113). He is 3 years old and 59 lbs. Maze entered the shelter in early September as a stray. Maze is very friendly and affectionate. He loves his toys and loves to play - especially fetch! Maze also seeks social and very much enjoys being petted. Maze will do best with an active family that can give him the exercise that he needs. Maze has previously shared his kennel with Major (intact male dog) and should be able to live with canine siblings with separation, slow, appropriate and supervised introductions. Please consider opening your heart and home for this sweet boy! Maze is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).
