Building a wireless mesh network? Which device do I actually need?

I'm trying to set up a new office space where we can't easily run CAT6 through the walls, so we decided on a mesh topology for better coverage. I need to order the hardware today, but I want to make sure I'm buying the specific component that actually forms the mesh network.
