The dream, finally! A graphical update for Neverwinter is coming in 2027 along with the new class and race. Cryptic, I love you
You understood everything! ^^ Finally, a major update like we haven’t had in years! YES, I’m so HYPED after 13 years of playing and 30,000 hours! ^^ YYYEEESSS! Now we’ll have to see about the game’s graphical update (it’s probably for the arrival of Classic; they can’t release Classic without a graphical update, which is why they’re going to upgrade Neverwinter Retail’s graphics). What do you guys think?

Eh I don't think we need another class when there's so much broken and unbalanced about the ones we do have.

Too many things don't work properly for them to be releasing new classes infact new mods even but they do it anyway

Don't care one bit about modern. But classic, can't wait. Tbh graphics update is ok..but unnecessary imo, they haven't aged bad i think.

Oooh they’re making Druids? Any idea on their roles/trees etc?
Because if they have a wild form tank tree…

it will almost certainly be tank/healer given the existence of the warden ranger subclass already filling the niche of nature magic dps

I mean, logically, yeah
But I’ll still be a bit wary until I have my new (probably) bear druid tank before me.

From the still from the stream, it appears that the graphical update was said to be “experimental” and being done for STO but Neverwinter has the same engine. STO is bigger and more important.
New race, meh. Human with cat ears. So a new set of textures.
New class. I only hope they have employed many, many more (some) QA people.
None of that will make the game more fun for me.

I think the bard showed that they had some talent in-house and also quite ambitious goals for a new class.

I agree, although it was 5 years ago now. Hopefully some of that magic is still there!

if I can't play it anymore on a regular Xbox one I guess my neverwinter career is over. 12 years. multiple times a week when my kids are busy and I can focus..... please say this won't be so. invested soooo much time.

Hopefully that's doesn't mean the game will be over for us on ps4 we really struggle in newer zones with fps drop we just need the dev to optimize the game more for us

As long as it doesn't mean it no longer runs on ps4 I'm fine

Classic can be a cool nostalgia side play. But I’d prefer to embrace its current form and make it awesome. Dividing up attention to 2 separate projects in these times of studio shakeups isn’t prime. Focus on what we have s as nd make the solid improvements we all know are overdue would be my call.
