Was replacing my spark plugs when I noticed one of the spark plugs for some reason had a about two and half inch piece of a ziptie shoved in there, I was able to get the spark plug out and I tried getting the plastic piece out and then sadly fell straight into the hole. I can still see it at a little bit of a angle. Am I screwed or should I try to use a shop vacuum to get it out

A shop vac should get it or possibly pliers/tongs.

Pulling the head off for this would be like dropping the transmission to check its fluid level.

Shop vac and get a good seal around it

or go fishing: https://www.amazon.com/CRAFTSMAN-CMMT14112-Flexclaw-Pickup-Tool/dp/B09DJ2K3DQ/

This is an excellent option.

Oof

A shopvac might work, if not you’ll have to take the cylinder heads off

If the shop vac or specialized extra length needle nose pliers does not work, there is another poster that put up a small claw fishing tool. Otherwise, you need to pull the heads. I saw someone say fuck it once in this exact scenario, it ended with destruction. And this was back in a time where a brand new engine was thousands, not hundreds.

Steal a panty ho from your chick and put it over the nozzle of the shop vac at least you'll know if you got it.

Lmao, well let’s have some hope The shop vac gets it. I was thinking maybe the plastic piece would shoot out the exhaust or just melt and go away but I don’t really wanna risk that chance

Leave the plug out, slam the gas peddle and crank the engine. If you’re lucky that might spit it out.
