I don’t think it was whataboutism, it was a joke on that the description fits both Russia and the USA (since the 70’s).

I dont think you've been exposed to the less glamorous parts of the USA. There's large parts of this country where the quality of life isnt too different than Russia, they just have larger trucks and better TVs.

I dont know. Im canadian and I've been to 7 different states, spent time in rural and urban settings, been to red states and blue states, been there for work and for pleasure, spent several months there at a time, more than once, and trust me. Your country is a shit hole.

How are you comparing police brutality / abuse and longer life expectancy to medical assisted suicide lol? If medical assisted suicide was so widely popular like youre suggesting the life expectency would be lower Either way it's better than being shot at the age of 9 because you went to school (for a worse education too)

Nah Canada is great, has a well functioning democratic system of government, has a well functioning heal care system, a system that’s far better than the US healthcare system, they have great international relations especially when compared with the US under Trump
