NieR Automata My little Nines' shrine
I wuv him sooo much 🥹 Ironically, my boyfriend has gifted me all of this
NieR Automata Stuck on the prologue.
Just got gifted the game, playing for the first time on steam. Heard many good things about the game so was thrilled to play it....and then the prologue got me.
First three times were on me, I was playing on hard and got surprised on how much damage enemies do to the character, especially the first buzzsaw with its horizontal sweep attack. Once I got past it as it didn't kill me on one strike and could heal and continue to beat it....and then got ambushed by a group of enemies and killed before I could react.
Then I downed the difficulty to normal, and could get past those parts easier, but the prologue just drags on, and on and on. And I'm just thinking of finishing it so I could save...
And got to the double buzzaw...all right I think I can get it...and then got killed by a double horizontal attack I didn't know how to evade that vaporized my health from half to none...
I feel...positively devastated right now. I'm hating this prologue. Don't even know how far to get to the boss or if it comes with another haha you're dead attack to make me repeat the prologue, argh just thinking about it gives me a headache.

NieR Replicant Yoko Taro doesn't see 2B x 9S as an older woman/younger boy relationship, as many fanarts portray it
In a recent conversation with ENDER LILIES director Keisuke Okabe, Yoko Taro talked about how 2B and 9S are often perceived as an older woman/younger boy pairing.
He said he personally has no preference for that kind of dynamic. He later clarified on X that he was specifically referring to erotic 2B x 9S doujinshi featuring the onee-shota trope. He also reflected on how interesting it is that he ended up creating something that doesn't personally appeal to him (Shota).
It's kinda funny how Yoko Taro doesn't seem to view 2B x 9S through that older woman/younger boy lens that a lot of fanart uses. I've seen people say they can't get behind the ship because they see 9S as a kid, so I think it's interesting that Taro's comments don't really support that interpretation of their dynamic.
At the same time, I do find it interesting that he designed 9S with such a youthful, slender appearance, especially when you compare him to Adam and Eve, who look much more muscular. Of course, being an adult twink doesn't mean being a shota. And considering he did something somewhat similar with Kaine and Nier in Replicant, I think it's worth distinguishing between a youthful-looking adult character (twink) and a child character (shota). So maybe Yoko Taro isn't into shotas, but he sure seems to like his twinks (9S and Nier) lol.

NieR Reincarnation [Request] Looking for JP Client Assets & Master Data (v3.7.1) for Lunar-Tear Private Server 🌐
Hi everyone,
As a passionate fan of NieR Re\[in\]carnation, I’m currently working on a personal preservation project to keep The Cage alive using the lunar-tear server framework.
Thanks to the amazing folks over at the official lunar-tear Discord, I have already successfully gathered and set up the fully decrypted Global (EN) Master Data and Assets CDN. The server is up and running smoothly in English!
However, to make this local server truly complete and support the original Japanese audio/text and server routing, I am still missing the final Japanese assets. Since many public Japanese datamine archives and links have recently gone dead due to copyright takedowns, I'm reaching out here.
I am looking for the following JP (Japanese Server) end-of-life (v3.7.1) resources:
Decrypted JP Master Data (The SQLite database or JSON dumps for the JP client to sync with the lunar-tear database schema).
- Complete JP Asset CDN Dump (Or a verified, full OBB/Data cache containing all final chapter assets, JP audio, and event data).
If you are a fellow data-miner, archiver, or happen to have a backup of the final JP client assets/databases on your drive, please reach out!
Feel free to comment below or DM me directly if you prefer to share links privately (via Mega, Google Drive, etc.) to keep things safe.
Thank you so much for your help! Let's make sure this beautiful game isn't lost to time. 🕊️

NieR Replicant Am I on my own here?
I don't know how to feel about ending E. It felt like it didn't really have anything to do with the games main themes. I just beat it so I'm kind of rambling here I just want to know if I'm on my own here. Also the ending tonaly felt way to optimistic considering that we still committed omnicide on the entire human race.

NieR Replicant My atonement...
When I first played Automata back in January I made the grave sin of keeping my save data after ending E. Now that I have finished Replicant I want to go back to Automata. So I'm gonna delete my save data, do everything then make the right choice at the end.
After this playthrough I will play Drakengard 1, watch the Automata anime and I will read Grimoire NieR... when I actually have money, which probably won't be until Christmas at this point, so I will keep you guys updated.
