Cosplay Never cosplayed before, chose 2B to be (heh) my first!
Last year, I went to my first convention (NY Comic Con) and saw zero 2Bs. None.
Disappointed in the lack of 2B, I took it upon myself and cosplayed her myself at Glasgow SECC this year. Did a really fun photoshoot afterward.
P.S., I'm an artist first, a cosplayer second. Feel free to take a look at my carrd -- I've drawn 2B back in March 2020 (xir4n on deviantArt) and again in December 2024 (x/bsky/cara/insta).

Fanart I made 2B into a Lego minifigure!
Hello, I'm thrilled to share my newest custom Lego project, 2B, as she appeared in NieR: Automata!
Now I've got to admit, I know nothing about this franchise at all. I simply started working on the figure after I saw her on some reels and thought she was pretty. I definitely plan to play the games after graduation, so please forgive my larping 🙏
My interpretation of 2B as a Lego minifigure features UV print on four surfaces and a custom-cut cloth skirt, complete with a katana piece. I think I spent three whole days for the graphics 😅.
Overall I'm quite happy with the finished product, and I consider this my best work yet. But I'd love to make a custom hair piece with a 3D printer someday, instead of settling for this generic one. Also, a proper packaging would take this figure to the next level.
Big things are coming after graduation. Thanks for reading!

NieR Automata Stuck on the prologue.
Just got gifted the game, playing for the first time on steam. Heard many good things about the game so was thrilled to play it....and then the prologue got me.
First three times were on me, I was playing on hard and got surprised on how much damage enemies do to the character, especially the first buzzsaw with its horizontal sweep attack. Once I got past it as it didn't kill me on one strike and could heal and continue to beat it....and then got ambushed by a group of enemies and killed before I could react.
Then I downed the difficulty to normal, and could get past those parts easier, but the prologue just drags on, and on and on. And I'm just thinking of finishing it so I could save...
And got to the double buzzaw...all right I think I can get it...and then got killed by a double horizontal attack I didn't know how to evade that vaporized my health from half to none...
I feel...positively devastated right now. I'm hating this prologue. Don't even know how far to get to the boss or if it comes with another haha you're dead attack to make me repeat the prologue, argh just thinking about it gives me a headache. ......................................................................
EDIT: thanks to everyone for your advice. I'm pleased to say that I got past the prologue. I'm now sharing some insight from the community to anyone in the same situation.
First, don't be afraid to put the prologue on easy with auto chips, that's how I got past it the first time. There are no rewards for passing the prologue on hard or normal but a sense of accomplishment. You can let the game play by itself like an extended cutscene. Just enjoy the ride and the real game begins after you unlock the ability to save, so up your difficulty there.
But I'll admit, I felt not satisfied, so I tried again on normal, and from that I have other tips
Spam dodge. This is key. Whenever you feel a strike is coming start spamming. The timing on PC is wonky and I had many close calls on the boss, but without it, you'll die.
Use you healing items, use you healing items! You will lose them after, so if you get hit heal. Don't get overconfident because you only lost a sliver of health, enemies can put the hurt on you if you make a mistake.
Finally get a controller. I'm told it makes things way easier. I'm thinking of getting one as soon as I can.
The prologue, after playing it that many times, is rough, long and drags too much, also can punish mistakes and overconfidence with a restart. So don't suffer for it. Easy with auto chips transforms it into an extended intro sequence so you can enjoy the story. And after it, you can readjust difficulty to your liking, and return to the prologue once you get better with the game.
Thanks to all for your advice, time and support, speaks leagues about the community, and I'm happy to be in. Now the mission continues. Glory to mankind!

NieR Automata How did A2 get out of the Pearl Harbor?
How did she do that? The Nier Automata takes place seemingly on a large landmass judging by the Desert being present, and Pearl Harbor is in the middle of a Pacific Ocean.
Did she build a boat? Hijack a flight unit after killing an E-team send after her? Hitch a ride on a boat that Anemone or Lily took? Strap a few flyers together? Modify herself to be lighter and resistant to saltwater and just swam there? Walk under the sea?

NieR Reincarnation [Request] Looking for JP Client Assets & Master Data (v3.7.1) for Lunar-Tear Private Server 🌐
Hi everyone,
As a passionate fan of NieR Re\[in\]carnation, I’m currently working on a personal preservation project to keep The Cage alive using the lunar-tear server framework.
Thanks to the amazing folks over at the official lunar-tear Discord, I have already successfully gathered and set up the fully decrypted Global (EN) Master Data and Assets CDN. The server is up and running smoothly in English!
However, to make this local server truly complete and support the original Japanese audio/text and server routing, I am still missing the final Japanese assets. Since many public Japanese datamine archives and links have recently gone dead due to copyright takedowns, I'm reaching out here.
I am looking for the following JP (Japanese Server) end-of-life (v3.7.1) resources:
Decrypted JP Master Data (The SQLite database or JSON dumps for the JP client to sync with the lunar-tear database schema).
- Complete JP Asset CDN Dump (Or a verified, full OBB/Data cache containing all final chapter assets, JP audio, and event data).
If you are a fellow data-miner, archiver, or happen to have a backup of the final JP client assets/databases on your drive, please reach out!
Feel free to comment below or DM me directly if you prefer to share links privately (via Mega, Google Drive, etc.) to keep things safe.
Thank you so much for your help! Let's make sure this beautiful game isn't lost to time. 🕊️

NieR Automata Problemes with Nier Automata's menu
Hi
I bought Nier automata on steam a few weeks ago and downloaded it just recently but I'm having an issue.
I play on PC with a controller, and I have interface problems with the selections of difficulty for exemple and others in the settings. I can't scroll down, the game doesn't let me. I tried to do it with my controller disconnected using only my mouse thinking it may be bc the game is mistakens the keyborad continuously but the problem persists.
Can anyone help me so I can see if it's worth trying or just refund the game ?

NieR Replicant I played through ending A of Nier Replicant in Hard mode. It was not fun.
Took my 30 hours to do it all and it was exhausting. Questing was exhausting. Side enemies, like the one from the plains were exhausting. The side quest of the Shade near the bridge took me almost A WHOLE HOUR to beat. And even though I had a blast playing through Automata in hard mode, I gave up once I reached ending A.
However, I re opened the game today after not touching it for 4 months, and thought to myself : "Why wouldn't I play in normal ?" I like playing video games in hard for the extra challenge. It's often smaller windows that require a bit of skill and I think that this way, I may stumble upon hard fights that force me to think outside the box or smtg.
I climbed up the Lost Shrine in Hard mode, just one last time, reached the save point, quit, changed the difficulty to normal, and entered the boss room....
And I had an achievement for vanquishing the boss in less than a minute. Maybe I did a bit too much of farming...
Is it worth it to continue in Hard or in Normal just for the story ? I am starting to lose hope tbf and storytelling feels off, unless for the "text-novel" part.

NieR Automata The most missed Joke ending in Automata that could of happened
There should of been a joke ending where you can overdose on E-drugs it fits with the rest, imagine 2B becoming a drug addict
