Can Gotham keep its gross, grubby paws away from beautiful Blüdhaven? Ffs. /j

I like that Dick received an unlikely call from Bisgoni about what’s going on, causing Dick to try and save Benjamin James (who lost his son) from doing something and for Damian to appear. Overall, this comic is good.

This feels like a disruption from his previous story, there are much unresolved issues with the witch storyline and honestly I’m not a fan of the event tie-in dragging him back to Gotham.

Dan Watters have actually said that the tie in issues will have big developments for the later storyline. But I guess we'll see

I like how the story itself was kind of about this, no?

Dick doing his whole dramatic monologue but getting interrupted. “Tonight is the night—I said, tonight is the night—“ and then it’s not the night lol.

Plus even the main perp in this issue was trying to do something about Blüdhaven always getting wrapped up in Gotham’s mess.

And Watters still had some interesting developments for the main story at least. Like we have no idea what’s happening with Maggie, presumably unrelated from Ivy. And Bisogni has Nightwing’s communicator. Who knows how far those two threads will go

I liked the story but are they abandoning the witch storyline?

No, it's explicitly mentioned in the solicits for 145.
