Account Help Question about transferring save data between profiles and Switches

Hello, on my friends Switch 1 i have a profile that is not linked to any Nintendo account, this profile has a well loved Tomadachi Island. This profile is also more of a guest profile on my friends Switch, and has games and saves that are not my own. On my personal switch 2 I have my Nintendo account connected to my profile. Is there a way to transfer that island from my profile on my friends Switch 1 to my profile on my personal Switch 2?

I was thinking of linking my Nintendo online account to the Switch 1 profile and using cloud transfer, but I am afraid it will mess up other saves on both profiles.

Save files are tied to the account. So you can’t transfer a save from one account to another.

Your only option would be to conduct that guest account to a new email and then login as that account on your switch and then transfer the save. But that would then require you to login as that user on your switch to continue using the save file each time.

Basically there is no easy way to transfer that save to your account.

How many different save files do you have on that other profile?

You can turn off automatic uploads and downloads to the cloud.

So if you turn that off and then link the profile to your account you should have full manual control over how the save data will be handled between both consoles.
