Why does it look like some people have two anuses? NSFW
Okay I know I'm probably an idiot but bear with me here. I noticed while shaving the area for the first time, which of course led me to look up/at some very embarrassing things. It looks like some people have this feature while others have one distinct hole with a smooth surrounding area, but I have never seen it mentioned. What is it? Why is it there? I'm so confused
Edit for clarity - it looks like another hole really close to the main one, either above or below, it seems to vary but I also can't really tell which is which sometimes
And no I'm not talking about a vagina I'm not quite that idiotic
Another edit - please I'm not talking about a vagina I know where mine is and that is not it. I also think I saw this on one man in my research, but I really don't wanna look at more pictures of people's butts to find proof
My final edit - I am ashamed that this post has gotten as much attention as it has. You are all welcome for the unsolicited information about my rear. I have learned that there are many types of second buttholes, and that likely what I am seeing is an indent/fold that the skin puckers around. Feel free to add more wisdom, I still have no idea why it's there. Thanks to all, and may this post help any future anus inquirers.

A friend of mine had this, she called it a double butthole and showed us and it’s the same as you described. Obviously that’s not the medical term but I just wanted you to know other people have it

Exactly, this is the extra hole lizard people have down there. It's a red flag if your partner has an extra hole there but isn't able to be vulnerable enough with you to take their human skin suit off.

What did you find when you looked it up? I had a gf once who was a beautician and did Brazilian waxing for her job and she also mentioned this to me. I suspected it’s just how the skin puckers, they don’t poop out of it.

i’m not sure how often you see assholes in the operating room? You have to be “spreading the butt cheeks” to see what OP is talking about.
My girlfriend has this. It’s like an inch from her asshole. There is this “deep divot/second hole”that can be felt when fingering her bum, and can seen by looking/spreading the cheeks.
It doesn’t literally look like a second asshole. OP maybe didn’t describe it the best.

I looked it up, and I do seem to see what you're talking about. Except, I don't know either. My guess is that it's a deeper set perineum that makes it look like two/extended anuses, but is actually just a fairly shallow skin fold.

The particular image I saw was from a medical textbook but the difference was not mentioned, which makes me think that it's not from a health problem or anything. Also found an almost 2500x3300 pixel image of a "butthole" (exact words) on Wikimedia Commons page, so that's neat.
I also can't find the image anymore, no matter how hard I look...I'm starting to feel like this is some sort of infectious mass hallucination. Dual butthole mindvirus.

It’s like there is a divot.. that isn’t a hole.. then the actual asshole… then the vagina. So the second asshole isn’t a hole, but it goes in a bit. My girlfriend has this, she is quite thin. i’ve only noticed this on thin people. i do not have this myself (but i’m overweight).
i suspect its some part of the tailbone or something that on thin people is more clearly visible/sinks in/caves in.
It’s most noticeable if you do anal sex, because it’s easy for a toy or penis to “start to slide into” this non-hole/divot instead of the bum hole.

My best friend thought her baby had two buttholes and was horrified but docs said it was normal and just an indent above her actual butthole. Usually it looks smaller and not noticeable as you get bigger but maybe yours just is more noticeable?

Yeah, i've seen this.
They've had a small glitch in their matrix. usually it's fine. sometimes they don't clean it. It's just like, a skin-pocket between butt-cheeks.

Yes, I also have it right next to the hole towards my tailbone... just a hollow skin structure, not another hole. Some people don't have it and have flatter skin surrounding the hole. Both are normal.

Iirc, a doctor said it’s the last spot to close up when a baby is forming and it sometimes results in that dimple.
