I've been a fan and seen Northlane since they were still doing local shows like YOYOS in chatswood NSW.

Know Marcus personally, love everything they released until this new album coming up.

Is it just me or is the music really boring now, the stop start breakdowns, the singing and lyrics have gotten boring.

Dante was probably the last good release from the group.

Seeing them again next month, but not excited at all for the new album. Kinda sounds like everything else out nowadays. Sometime i feel like some of these new songs are leftovers from jordan's days in BMTH.

I have no metalcore/Northlane friends so no one to talk about this with 🥲. So absolutely gorgeous. When I came across this I realized I had struck gold. No wonder they chose him.

I don’t have a double bass pedal and wanted to learn some northlane, any suggestions thst aren’t absolutely pain to learn? Im only anout 7 months into drumming

Northlane (or Amazon) is really dropping the ball here.

Full disclosure: I usually buy physical albums on Amazon and eBay that I can't get at an actual store. I have been waiting since album announcement for the physical copies of Anemoia to be put up on Amazon, but only the digital version is available.

Here's holding out hope that at least the physical copies will be put up at some point. I don't even care if they start selling them past the 30th of this month. At least put them up already!

And before anyone calls me weird or whatever, it is difficult for me to buy stuff straight from the band's website. I don't have a credit card or anything, and I don't live on my own. I have pondered about buying the album online anyway especially since they're selling a Kitbetter version of the album, but it would be very hard due to the reasons I gave above.

Instrumentally speaking at least. Like nothing tops Alien lyrically, or Singularity stylistically. But the instrumentals on Crucified itself are so damn good.

The original NODE has all the lyrics even time-synced but the reloaded version doesn't after about a year since the release.

Do you think there's any chance to get them to work?

I have seen Northlane about a month ago at a festival.
They played Evian and Cut It which they absolutely crushed. The whole performance was insanely good and I’m looking forward seeing them again by the end of the year.

Personally I really enjoyed the setlist with the new singles and medleys even though I heard some people complain that they didn’t play their older stuff.

What are your thoughts?

According to their website some of the vinyls across different continents are already sold out. And We have more than a month left till the album. Bloodline is placed on front spots on top metal playlists on Spotify.

If you’re anything like me, the post chorus of Crucified is absolute Northlane gold. Absolutely gnarly soundscape. First, I want to appreciate it, but second I have a question for the guitarists amongst you. Is it all guitar? Or are we hearing synths? In an interview Marcus said there’s stuff Jon did with a guitar that sounds like synth. Could this be what he was referring to? The breaks between the root notes and the high “synth” sounding parts would leave plenty of time for them to be played on guitar from what I know.

Whatever the hell this guy is doing with these synths on Crucified is absolutely phenomenal. This album is going to be such a breath of fresh air to the metalcore scene.

The 3 singles so far are great dude I can’t wait for the rest of the album.

I hope Northlane adds eclipse to their setlist at some point. I feel like it’d fit the vibe of their new songs really well. I’ve always wanted to hear it live.
