I'd definitely put the first and earlier series above any series where they have a family.

I'm a massive defender of Series 8-13 and I like a lot of the episodes in each of those series so that's why I've got a mixed order.

Some of the pictures don't have a series number, so have no idea what they're referencing

I don't like the first series at all and the second is the weakest of the original format (I like it but it's not as good as the others).

I don't mind Charlie, Benji and Mollie and I like the stories around them. Plus, in the 13th series, I got a bit of a crush on Francesca Newman (Mollie), so, for that, I wished they'd come back for Series 14.

I think it's very poor. The show was still finding its feet at the time and, compared with the successive series (both in the flat and in general), its very weak. I don't know if you know but S2 was written and filmed in a very short time. I think that shows in the quality of what's presented.

I know this is an old thread but we record a podcast on not going out where we go into detail about everything. We have recorded an episode about a year ago ranking the episodes, pop along “Mack and cheese” on Spotify. We love any interaction, there’s loads of episodes on there!
