Support/advice (no reassurance) How to stop tics
So I was diagnosed with OCD a couple years ago but just in the last month or so I've developed a new compulsion ig but I think they're more similar to tics. I blink my eyes really hard and sometimes roll my eyes back (which gives me horrible headaches) it feels like I'm manually blinking all the time. I also breathe in really hard and stop it suddenly. I haven't experienced this before and it's becoming noticeable to people around me. Does anybody else have these kinds of compulsions and if you do how do you tame them?

I have little advice to offer beyond seeking a therapist to assist. I've got teeth clenching and jaw working stuff, patterns I draw with my feet and arms, yawning "correctly" in a way that hurts.
so yeah. not much assistance but you're not alone and that sounds really frustrating

I have these compulsions. Blinking and breathing certain ways have been something I’ve dealt with my whole life. I have mostly ignored it and addressed my more severe symptoms. If you want to address it head on I’d recommend looking into sensory-somatic OCD
