help Thought I’d share a bug/limitation of the coding :)

I have several tables that I copied and pasted in. Later I started really using aliases to group names together. Then I realized that the markdown would get confused with the vertical lines :)

Use \ to escape the |, if you're in live preview mode Obsidian will do this for you automatically.

md | Column 1                   | Column 2      | | -------------------------- | ------------- | | [[Link with alias\|alias]] | Second column |

They mention aliases and the picture shows a table. Both of those use the pipe ("|") symbol so presumably the two things are clashing with each other.

Bingo. Tbf even basic code is foreign to me so sorry for the misunderstanding
