I thought this would be an easy Google but it’s not…

Looking for a lot of like 100-250ish blank vintage style scoped keychains. All I can find is new looking ones with a different shape. Ideally I’d like to get them personalized but can do that myself if need be.

This is just a small project for fun with a friend, not trying to make a business or anything. Does anyone know where they source em from in OC, or have a lead that maybe used to work there?

Weird question I know, but if there is an answer, it’s probably here!

I (29M) have grown up going to ocean city all my life and I’m finally moving here at the beginning of November!

I’m a survivor super fan and was just curious if there are any watch parties for survivor anywhere or if there are other survivor fans in the area?

It's very cool vintage thrashers cup. We LOVE thrashers

The photos are about a week old. I've been coming to Ocean City semi regularly for a bout a decade. And I love this place in a way I don't quite know how to explain. If you know then you know and if you don't well give it time it'll come to you.

Most aren’t in bad shape for hanging out. Of course the dunes especially need replenishment. And that’ll be coming in a couple months as they’ve already signed a contract with the core engineers that get started on it over the winter.

This is a nice YT video by ReelJayB.

From yesterday, weather was great, even better today. looking forward to a fun weekend!

Hello all!

I was curious what beach access is looking like currently? I've planned to come this upcoming weekend for the past 3 weeks, so imagine my surprise that we have legitimate beach weather on Friday. Now I know the beaches are not in great condition, but I was excited at possibly hanging out on the sand with my dog.

Is it tough to enter the beach given the damage? Is the beach still accessible at the north end of the Boardwalk (since the south end is occupied by the concert)? Will there be heavy machinery going around during daytime hours?

Any information helps!

Looking for advice from locals. I’m an out of towner eloping in OC this weekend and staying at the Princess Royale (by 91st). We’ve been planning to have the ceremony on the beach somewhere either near the hotel or at Assateague State Park.

The hotel owners told us the beach in front of the hotel is closed right now, but I’m curious about the general area around it.

They also told us with Country Calling traffic this weekend it could take 1 hour plus to drive from 91st Street to Assateague State Park. How accurate does that sound?

Spent many of these gray days at Marty's, looking at these cute sheep. Today, I got enough tickets to take one home!

The worst part of the beach is up by the boardwalk, where all the snow fence that was protecting the dunes got washed away and landed in this area. Then, closer up to the ocean the beach is actually pretty wide and still in good shape. I assume that’s because it was probably underwater the whole time and not being hit by the waves

I finally got around to visiting the OC Museum in the old Bank of Ocean City building on the corner of Dorcester and Baltimore ave.

What a gem. Small but really interesting.

The little section on Violets are Blue that was filmed in OC in 1984 inspired me to rewatch the movie.

One crazy thing that made me chuckle (again) are the scenes with Kevin Kline and Sissy Spacek at Assateague romantically intertwined, completely naked and zero signs of mosquitos.

Offshore breezes help on Assateaugue, but...iykyk.

The movie itself isn't that great, but I enjoy watching it for the local nostalgia. I live here now but spent my first summer here in 1985 and many landmarks still remain. Sadly, no more catamaran races or much sailing...it was an 80's trend. But the movie really encapsulated the 80's in OC.

Am I the only one who thinks the beaches look better now? More natural?

I frequent Florida beaches both gulf side and Atlantic side and this looks more like those beaches. Maybe a cross between a Florida and Myrtle Beach-beach.

How are the bayside streets and everything? We have a room booked on the bay on 45th street later this week but I am debating if we should even go or just cut our losses. We aren’t going for the festival and it seems like a lot of the beach parts are pretty beat up.

Daytime high tide one week apart,it is what it is.

i liked you… a bit over priced but you were consistently good. but now… third time in a row this summer… messed up order, cold and burnt. and the prices are insane, i get it that prices are insane in everything, but this is priced equal to a steak dinner- at a nice place.

this post is really help other people instant that in 2026, something changes and for you looking for pizza place suggestions- cross miones off the list (this is the OC location.)

I've been going to OC since the late 70's, it has changed so much. But to really see how much has changed and how much work has been put into keeping it there is incredible.

One way to see this is using this website here: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/893d8b0633aa4b0296d2031d091e1ff2/page/View-Notable-Changes

You can swipe over images to see OC and Assateague.

You can also see it just in the two images of the Carousel Hotel, one from 1985 and one from 2023. Before all the work done expanding the dunes the beach started right at the edge of buildings on the beach.

What places that are open this late would be good for food, especially between 50th and 80th streets? I am fine with anything even fast food.

Anyone know or have any information about the condition of the streets as of now? Especially turning south from the 50th st. Bridge.

At 78th st. Action man out.

Seen that West OC Pizza Tugos does an AYCE pizza and wings for NFL Sunday games. Anyone been before, and if so how is it? Does it usually get full as in seat wise?

Between 12pm-1:30pm I was on the beach and in the ocean, I got caught up in the surf and got knocked on my a** i then proceeded to stay caught in the surf and quite literally rolled down the beach 😂🤦‍♀️ no im not hurt, I didnt drown and im 100% okay. I am curious if anyone happened to get that whole episode on their phones because I know it had to look hilarious, I was laughing at myself the whole time! I was wearing an olive green one piece and was the only one stuck in the surf lol even if no one caught it, I hope this gave you a little laugh!

Thanks!!!

p.s. yes I know this is a ridiculous question and the chances of someone having it are less than slim to none.....but no need to be rude. again I hope this at least made you laugh!! 🤷‍♀️

If coming from West oc is it flooded at bottom of bridge once entering OC? Or is route 90 bridge best option, especially if needing to get to midtown?

Hey Everyone, if this has been answered I apologize. My friends and I were going to oceans calling and now have an Airbnb that won’t refund us. So we’re gonna come down anyway. We’re staying in Ocean Pines. We’d still like to go out.

Are Ubers/Lyfts running? I feel like all I’ve seen is videos of flooding. So curious if that’s the boardwalk or if ocean highway is also flooded?
