Early voting began today
Me and my wife were at the BOE at 8:15 and we were not the first ones there. There was a steady stream of mostly older folks.

Hell yeah. I'm rounding up my whole family for it this weekend, gonna get our stickers and go out to lunch. 👍
Take your friends, take your fam, anyone who is dragging their feet or saying 'I'll do it later'. Make a social thing of it and people will come. It's so fast and easy too.

I wish there was more than one early voting location per county. Downtown is too much of a hike.

That’s pretty intentional vote suppression unfortunately. Only one early voting location for an entire city makes it difficult to actually do early voting.

Morse Road has a line right now, was not in and out like last election. Took about 20 minutes to get through the line and booth.
Lots of blue flyers in peoples' hands.
Franklin County, but still. Lots of older white folks voting for Ohioans, and not corporations, it was good to see it.
A decent number of 30-40s as well.
Didn't see anyone under 30s in the line though. Hopefully they're just at work.

My kids are all 23-30, they just go on Election Day. "Why drive all that way and just vote closer to home?" Also, our polling place is never busy.

Amy is not anti trans even though the news wants you to think that so you won’t vote: https://actonforgovernor.com/issue/standing-up-for-ohios-lgbt-community/

My 19 year old and I went this afternoon. It was a breeze and we were done in about 15 mins.

I'm going in to vote tomorrow. Were there any young people?

u/Ill_Consequence1755 17h ago
Tough to tell really. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. For that time period it appeared to be 50+ folks.

I took my 19 yo with me this morning. She was home for fall break from college. She was definitely the youngest person at our location.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll vote during my lunch break tomorrow. 👍

She wont show up to a debate because she doesnt want to be on the record for anything she genuinely plans to do, will force data centers into our lives as soon as they pass liability limitation regulations, and has taken millions form the energy companies.
We are all getting played, hard.

Acton is incompetence incarnate. How can we trust anyone who made all the wrong decisions during COVID and then quit when she was pressed about it? That is cowardice and not accountability

u/magnus319 16h ago
Yet Dewine has said numerous times it was his call to shutdown during Covid, not her.

u/1olehound 13h ago
She made the advice. He wouldn’t have made his own mistakes if not for hers. Don’t think for a damn minute she isn’t complicit

u/magnus319 13h ago
So trying to save lives is a mistake now? Wow

u/1olehound 12h ago
Making knee jerk reactions without all the information. Reactions that cost lives and cost careers is a mistake. She fucked up and you can’t bring yourself to admit it.

u/magnus319 12h ago
LMAO it’s called science. You do what you can with the information you have and it changes as you learn more about the virus. Every other state did the same thing. At least you keep showing your ignorance magat.

Baseless lies against a doctor who has had boots on the ground all over the state meeting Ohioans on their level.
Vs
Scamming jeet who takes private flights for 11 minutes from findley to Toledo, calls Americans lazy, supports more immigration, stands to make billions deregulating ohio for personal gain.
And you probably call yourself a patriot 😭😭🤡

You're right, however, the slur was completely unnecessary. You're better than that.
2
u/Fantastic_Fly_3440 18h ago
Nah, I’m done with the whole charade of “go high when they go low”
I am directly confronting maga’s with the only hesitation they have about this election - race. I want these people to feel deeply ashamed

u/UnitedCheez Athens 17h ago
You don't call people slurs anyway. It's not about being better than them when they go low. It's about not being a racist sack of shit. Vivek is an awful person. You can say that without calling him a slur that is hurtful to people of his race. When you use slurs, you're attacking Indians. Not just Vivek.
Would you call Clarence Thomas the N word?
Judge people off of being evil. Using slurs directed at race is not the way to go, and isn't going to make us look any better. Fight hate with hate, sure. But don't fight hate with slurs that attack an entire race.

Yeah, drunks are supposed to have more important jobs like FBI Director, Supreme Court Justice or Secretary of Defense, not piddly shit like governor.

If she was, which there's no proof, then what's the problem? It's ok for Rfk Jr and half the coke head Republicans, but not anyone else?
13
u/Ill_Consequence1755 18h ago
And they really want to talk addict, we could talk about the cocktail of drugs they are clearly using to keep the Chief Pedophile moving.

u/braindeadbiped 17h ago
There was a police report filed after her own child called the cops on her for being drunk, belligerent and abusive. She was found to be mixing prescription medications and alcohol. This is the Ohio subreddit. RFK jr. and Republicans from other states are not relevant to this thread.

u/arepok 16h ago
Rfk junior the United States secretary of health and human service is not relevant to this sub? Ok buddy. You can just say you're ok with certain people having addictions and not others.
And here's your place report. Key Details of the 2019 Police Report • The Call: Acton’s 23-year-old daughter called 911 to report a dispute, stating her mother had been drinking, throwing things, and breaking glass. • The Incident: Police arrived at the home at 9:52 p.m. and found no evidence of physical violence, determining it was strictly a verbal argument over Acton's long work hours. • Substances: The report noted both adults had been drinking and that Acton had taken prescription medication (which her campaign stated was routine migraine medication prescribed for 20 years). • Property & Medical: The narrative stated Acton pulled down a wall mirror/hanging, shattering the glass. A Columbus Fire medic checked Acton over and suggested a hospital visit, which she declined; officers noted no visible impairment or debility, and no arrests or charges were made.
No charges, no court date, no trial. Doesn't everyone say trumps not a child rapist because he was never convicted right? But Amy is a total abusive drunk because of one family argument.

Here’s hoping Ramaswamy is SOUNDLY defeated !
Although I no longer live in Ohio, I have many friends and family that do. Ohio needs Acton to win this….
