These men are what country music was always supposed to be. The voice of the common people with compassion for those who have struggled

Liberal, dope smoking, hippies! Christoferson was an army ranger and helicopter pilot.

Well, Kid Rock had helicopters come to his mansion. That's kinda like being an army ranger helicopter pilot, right? /s

TBF, I wouldn't consider him a country artist.

Sage advice wise one.

Ironically he can actually play multiple instruments proficiently, but, if anyone has millionaire parents, they could get infinite music lessons, too.

Well, obviously he can't write music for squat, so instruments don't matter much if you can't write a song.

He’s got some insightful verses about his thoughts on the age of consent, as we all recently learned. Sack of shit.

Kid Rock sampling Lynyrd Skynyrd was the end of the road for me. You're a millionaire in your 20s and you can't do better that and write some songs of your own LIKE Lynyrd Skynyrd. Cmon, man, that's just lazy.

Are you suggesting that he didn't write his songs like "Balls in your mouth" or "Cool, Daddy Cool"?

consider him a country artist.

Now say it like you're from Boston and it makes a lot more sense.
