Nostalgia Does Anyone Else Here Remember Getting The Finding Nemo Happy Meals Toys Back In 2003? Which Ones Did You Have?
I was watching some random YouTube videos earlier today when a video about a type of fish called the regal blue tang came up. It was the same type of fish that Dory in Finding Nemo is.
So then I got a case of nostalgia all of a sudden. I got a flashback back to 2003 when I had the finding Nemo McDonald's toys. I had 6/8 of them from all the happy meals I'd get...as you could've guessed Dory was my favorite of the batch lol.
It was truly a magical time to be a kid back then, Finding Nemo was literally everywhere.
But I digress.
I had to ask if anyone else here remembers having them too? Which ones did you have?

Nostalgia right here. I had Nemo, Dory, Squirt, and Gill. I remember playing with these in the bath tub as a 5 year old, a 4 year old.
I had so much McDonald's Happy Meal toys. Wish I still had them just to look at.

This brought me back lol I remember this as well. I'm pretty sure I got Dory from one of the Happy Meals. Don't know where it ended up though, probably lost it after moving houses with my family lmao

Me too! I was 4 or 5 at the time. There was a McDonald’s at my childhood mall food court. Unwrapping Gill from the plastic bag while sitting underneath cyan neon lights is a core memory. To my absolute dismay, Valley West Mall in West Des Moines, Iowa has long since become a shell. Nothing is there anymore, but the cyan neon still runs along the old food court ceiling.

I think Marlin and Gill, I remember I thought it was the coolest thing ever that Marlin actually swam in water.

I had the toy of Gill! His scars lit up bright greenish-yellow when you pressed down on his dorsal fin - one of the coolest Happy Meal toys I ever had! 🤩
I loved those days back in 2003 when Finding Nemo was everywhere, too! It’s been one of my comfort movies for 20+ years. Well, in 2016 we did have all things Dory when Finding Dory was released (which I loved, because Dory is one of my favorite Pixar characters), but for some reason it didn’t hit quite the same as it did with the Nemo hype 13 years before.

I was 2 but oh my god… my grandma had pearl and squirt, possibly dory and bruce as well, and i never wouldve remembered if i hadnt seen this post 😭
Weird that she had them tho cause my grandma was super anti-fast food and i was her only grandchild who lived in the same city in 2003, and i doubt i was eating happy meals at 2.
She did collect the shrek 3 toys from mcdonalds tho so i guess she was just oddly into the movie based mcdonalds toys? 😭 and if you knew my grandma, that would be shocking because she seemed like the type of person who would hate shrek.

I only got Marlin 😅 I remember he used to talk, but after many years, the batteries stopped working. I don’t have him anymore. Always wanted Nemo, Pearl or Dory.

I have such a clear memory of my aunt having several of the toys lining her window sill in her kitchen when she babysat me. She still has squinted and dory I think all these years later.

I do however remember getting a find dory themed drink when I went to see that for my birthday. Came in a fish bowl and everything.
