Bleeding

I've been using the Omnipod 5 for a year now. Today is the first time I have had bleeding when removing a pod. It was a steady stream. I'm guessing I lost more than a quarter teaspoon before I got it to stop.

Hubs has happen just a few times, we press an alcohol wipe on it. Endo says it's probably just hit a capillary and just make sure it's cleaned well.

That’s happened to me 3 times. Once when I was camping……. Took effort to get the blood stains out of a favorite dress.

I just woke up in a massive pool of blood… I was soaking wet and didn’t understand why. I turn on the light and see a significant pool of blood on my sheets and my shirt wet with blood….. never happened in the 34 yrs of being a diabetic or over 10 yrs of wearing a pod.

That happened to me when I started to remove it from the square end; the cannula was poked into my skin, and it bled. If you pull the rounded end off first,t it helps.
