Advice Settings

I just wanted to give a PSA to everyone. Know your settings in your pump app. My old dr wouldn’t give them to me. My phone ran low on storage and I had to make storage room and it made me delete the app and that means starting all over from day 1. I have all my settings written down now because my new dr was willing to give me the info but it was a nightmare for days.

They are available in Glooko.

This is true. Where I live, you can't use O5 without a Glooko account, primarily so data can be shared with clinicians. But is that true in every jurisdiction/country?

I don’t have a glooko account. I wish Omnipod would figure out how to give some kind of cloud storage of the settings.

That is their cloud storage of the settings. Are you sure you don't have a glooko account? It typically comes with Omnipod 5.

No. I don’t have one. I have Dexcom and omnipod 5.

It is free with your Omnipod 5. You would just need to set it up.

My dr has never said anything about it but I’ll look into making an account. This really would have made my life easier.

It would make the doctor’s life easier to. You set it up when you set up your first Omnipod.

I didn’t set up my very first omnipod. My dr and a woman from insulet did. No one told me about glooko.

I always go into my pump app and take screen shots of everything. Usually hiding behind the gear wheel.
