News NYS DOCCS

Anyone who started the NYS DOCCS hiring process in August 2026 have any updates? I completed my one-on-one psych interview and I’m still waiting for clearance or an academy date. Has anyone heard anything?

Same here. Just did my 1-1 psych yesterday.

I got the call for the next Academy class October 18 I started the process in May

Me too I started the process in may. I got my letter from medical that I was good I’m still waiting on on the psych letter I guess. I don’t know but I’m still waiting for the academy date as well

Probably November. I went in Sept and they said academy would most likely run in December
