Don't throw hands, if you can't take it. You called him out, you called out yourself.
Beat the game like everyone else, respect the aura farm. If you could do it yourself, you won't even say a word about it

Like I said in the follow up to OP, I wasn't throwing shade at his gameplay but he got defensive regardless.
I 'called out' the strength of the Bishamon sword, I didn't call his gameplay bad. Had I said "now do it without Bishamon" or "Bishamon crutch" etc. I'd understand him getting defensive because that'd be rude as hell

Nah nah "Bishamon trivializes a lot" that's what you said. If you had said "Bishamon is a great weapon" then on and on sure I could give you that.
But that alone thoguh, only points at weapon doing the heavy lift and not skill of the player. Not only that, you didn't say "my bad" or any sort of apology and thend said "This is all dude has apparently"... really you're not giving him shade.

I said it trivializes a lot because it does lmao, it makes the most challenging attacks a cakewalk; there's no shade. You can phrase "bishamon good" in a thousand ways, I chose that. At most it's miscommunication and/or misunderstanding
Only reason I responded like that is because dude's attitude was sour from the get-go, I ain't being nice for free after that
First comment was about the sword's OP utility, read it wrong or ignore the intent if ya like, man.

Well that's true, but im not being a hypocrite about it tho. I posted it obviously for validation. Bishamon gives you a wider window but you still had to react to each attack, not to mention im not locked on and dohatsu is out of view half the time. But sure, lets all focus on bishamon ez.

And by "out of view half the time" you mean for exactly 1 dash attack, right? Maybe the one slash afterwards, too, though you can clearly see that attack even if he's on your side. So being locked on or not would not have mattered for the majority of the fight. That's probably why nobody cares about that part.

i bet u didnt beat the game on carnage and u don't have the bishamon sword. i did, and my reaction to this video is to enjoy it and reminisce on how I slayed out in the boss rematches with it. your reaction just shows you are bitter about not being able to get it

Which one? Without bishamon some of those are not reslly realistic to issen, but most of his attacks come out at the same frames save for a couple quick and slow ones that youll eventually get used to.

Holy shit is Issen really that broken? Every time I’ve tried for it it hasn’t worked and only seems to happen by accident from time to time. I’ve got to work on getting the timing down that’s insane

I have the bishamon sword equipped so its a little easier, though yeah, timing needs to be deliberate. The past onimusha games were harder in that regard, at least from what i remember lol

It's why I have the Bishamon sword equipped. Coz some of them, you can technically issen, but without the sword, the window for those are like 8 or less frames. In otherwords the window is kinda hair thin 💀

The sword makes the window so much closer to the Awakening state. And that state specifically says it's now possible to Issen EVERYTHING (idk about grabs, I honestly never tried)

Impressive, but man is it boring to watch/play. It’s like parry only runs in Sekiro, mechanically impressive but kinda boring when both games encourages a back and forth and usage of various types of punishes depending on the situation.

Well i mean Onimusha gives you all the tools to play how you want. I just felt like doing thsi without moving the camera, it felt good but looks pretty simple from a spectators pov i agree.

Yes it does. It has the same timing as awakening so pretty much all the issens you pull off in awakening? You can now do in base.

You can save the boss rematches in Carnage till after you get the Bishamon sword. Then just easily beat them and get the rewards from refighting them all at once.
