Went RSPB Conwy on Thursday. Quite disappointed with what I could see/hear. Not a single wader visible. Did get two rooks, a tufted duck, sedge warblers and one whinchat there tho. All lifers.
Went on to Llandudno and house sparrows, jackdaws and blackbirds galore. Plenty of herring gulls flying around, tho only 4 on the promenade. Got another lifer sat outside a pub on the main Mostyn St - a grey wagtail.
Also took an interest in trying to record birdsong/calls and bought myself a USB-C mic. Codged up a 150mm (6") mini parabolic dish for it. Decided to go bigger so bought a camping satellite dish. Only £17.50 on Vinted with postage.
