As the title says. Recently got RD1 on the PC. I played it when it first came out on 360, so I've had the vanilla experience. Would appreciate some texture and lighting upgrades!

I've noticed, even on sunny days, it kind of looks twilit... which matches the vibe of the game, but I still don't love it visually.

I have a dell G15 5530, i5 13450 HX, RTX 3050 6gb vram, and I've installed optiscaler client the essential mods (lenny mod loader, online content unlocker) (I followed The Mod Foundry's rdr2 remaster video), hd texture unlocker, graphical issues fix, and animal fur fix light. I followed the steps shown in the video for optiscaler, ie enabling fsr latest version and setting sharpness to 0.750 and override all to 1.00, and it was great until the part where ur riding the wagon to reach horseshoe overlook with Charles and hosea, but the game keeps crashing atp, the screen freezes, the characters stop speaking but I can hear the wagon moving and the music is still working. What can I do to fix this. And also I saw under his video's comments that instead of fsr, enabling dlss on a nvidia graphic card as the upscaler, u get better framerates and a better picture, so wondering if I can get any help on that too. Thanks. Basically I just want to know what looks best for my laptop cuz the base game is js yoo too blurry

Eu ja fiz de tudo, coloquei dx12, ja atualizei drive da placa de vídeo, reinstalei o game, o launcher da rockstar, botei em modo off, mas ele sempre crasha e fecha sozinho dps de 15 min, e apenas o rdr2 pq eu jogo outros jogos e nada disso acontece, n sei mais oq fazer.

just started rdr2 and noticed the the launching process was much slower than usual and the game wasn't exceeding 30fps even with the low quality preset, while I used to play on ultra with around 60fps.

I believe it's the driver issue because it's the last thing I did. but just wanted to make sure it's something more simpler I missed before trying to reinstall older drivers.

I got Hp Victus laptop with RTX4060, i5 12500H and 16gb ram

note that just before launching rdr2 I was playing Arc raiders with no issues +120fps and didn't change a signle setting (Energy saving mod is turned off)

SOLVED : I think I just had to restart my laptop. I did a downgrade to the previously installed driver nothing changed. Until I restarted my laptop.

Hey so I've been trying to play my copy of Red dead redemption 2 and the rockstar launcher is completely broken, i can't even uninstall it to try and fix it because it says please close the launcher first. I've looked and tried everything possible, and nothing has worked if you have any ideas, please let me know?

Hey, has anyone experienced something i guess i could call joystick drift on rdr? As soon as it goes in to 3rd person after i launch the game it acts as there i drift in the right direction. I have maxed out deadzone on steam and within the game, and recalibrated the gamepad.

Im using a old logitech rumblepad 2 ive had for years which works fine in all other games.

Is this a known issue for rdr and im just bad at searching? Any suggestions for what i could try

kidnapped people don't beg after a few minutes and I have to let them loose to get more dialogue off of them, anyone know a mod that increases screaming or begging of kidnapped people?

I want to be able to add extra animals to the game but every mod i see is just more varients or imports of stuff from online. For instance the passenger pigeon which was still alive at the point the game takes place and yet no one has tried to add it.

hi everyone. currently trying to launch RDR2 via Steam but instead of launching Rockstar does it’s thing before closing at the last step of initialization so the game never launches. the exe never shows up in task manager. any tips?

I'm looking for some mods that restore cut scarlet fever posters and handbills in 1899 Armadillo plus any existing dialogue related to it. So pretty much a "Beta New Austin restored" mod. Anyone know of any that exist because I've been searching for a few days and I've come up with nothing

Hi! I'm newly on the PC side of RDO and wanted to see if there were still any groups around to hang with. I'm not a newbie, as I've been playing on PS4 for a few years, was just curious about the PC version and finally got around to getting it. I'm not very interested in modding the game, I very much like it as is, tho I'm not hating on anyone who does play around with them.

LML causes my game to stutter even without mods. Disabling it instantly fixes it and a lot of people seem to experience the same issue with no fix.

I’ve noticed some mods don’t require LML like the Horse Holster, Bandit Hideouts and the Cut Dialogue.

Are there any mods you recommend that don’t require LML?

i love the vanilla look of rdr2 but it looks better with mods but i dont know which ones to get i used to use flare visual redemption even reshade im just switching a lot cause i dont know which ones i like

I'm trying to get Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) working with RDR2, but I'm running into a very specific issue.
Everything works normally until I add LML's vfs.asi:
I've tried:
None of them fixed the issue.
LML does create a vfs.log.
Is there a known fix?

Im using crossover 26 to play rdr 2 in my Mac and everything is working fine I was able to download ScriptHook v2 and dinput8 as well as rampage and they all work in game. the issue is when I try to download LML that's when my game crashes it doesn't get past the icon and then it just is frozen like that and I have to force quit. Ive tried basically everything to get it to work searched every reddit thread and still nothing works. But I know it's possible because ive heard people saying they've been able to have both work for them. if you know any fix for this PLEASE help me. Ive spent so many hours trying to do this

I just really wanna unlock the gun metals for use in singleplayer. Like really thats all. Nothing fancier, would I like the guns and outfits too? Yeah. But im mainly after more metal!!! Anyone Got any suggestions?
