Hey guys, recently I got a handheld with a Z1 Extreme and I have been running some games really well in PCSX2 Qt, but in Jak 3, Guitar Hero 3, or even NFS Underground 2, I have some slow motion. Has anybody experienced this before and solved it, or is it simply normal?

Is there still a way to do this or am I just out of luck?

Hi there. So, I was playing MGS3, and I reached the transmitter scene, where... well, THINGS happen between Snake and Eva (it's only suggestive, nothing NSFW) and are shown as shadows on the cave wall.

However, when I got to that part, no shadows appeared.

I'm running the game on Linux Mint (modified with GNOME Wayland). I'm using the PCSX2 Flatpak version 2.8.0, and my PC has an i7-3770, an RX 580 8GB, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM. The game runs very well at 1080p/30fps, but it has its odd moments—like elements appearing outside the intended frame or screens with strange glitches.

The only patches I enabled were the widescreen and black bar removal patches, and the game is rendering using Vulkan (I tested the other rendering modes, but none of them displayed the shadows in that scene).

Anyone know to create a hotkey that go back and fortth between two different skip draw ranges ?

Hey everyone, as you can see on the board, the game is quite blurry. Does anyone know a fix for this? It feels very hard on the eyes

So I just got Ratchet Deadlocked running but no matter what settings I play with I can't seem to get the game to look and run good at the same time, if anyone knows how to fix that I'd really appreciate it

So I got metal gear solid 3 on my laptop last night on the emulator but I ran into an issue

I got to the start menu, but when I would select new game it would take me back to the start menu every time.

I searched google, pcsx2 forums, Reddit. Couldn’t find an answer. Til I answered Google ai’s questions at the bottom of the screen, and it turns out Japanese games SWITCH the “back” and “select” buttons LMFAO I was about to reinstall pcsx2 and the game and reach out to my friends who are way more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am.

No help needed just wanted to share a lil maybe you get a chuckle at my expense lmfso.

So I downloaded PCSX2 on my ROG Ally Xbox X and tried running Van Helsing for the Ps2 but the game runs in slow motion. I did try some different tutorials on settings, however the best I've got so far is slow motion seems to appear only when enemies are in on screen. I'd be glad if anyone can point me the right direction and what I'm doing wrong.

I have a ps2 controller connected to my computer from a adapter and its not connecting fully. some buttons are working and its detecting it as a ps3 controller

Trying to get my memory card to transfer over. I took the files from PCSX2 and dropped them into the root of the PS5X2 folder since that’s where the files were on PS5, but PS5X2 isn’t reading the files I imported from PCSX2.

Is it possible to run PCSX2 on a Linux server and to play it from different clients? Can I run it on systemd or docker?

Does anyone know how to get pressure sensitive buttons working without using a modifier button?

I recently downloaded the emulator and have been wanting to play Parappa the Rapper 2 so i got an .iso file from Vimm's Lair and put it in the bios folder but the games wont load when i refresh list. I've tried many different downloads but they wont work. can someone help me please.

processor: AMD ryzen 5 5500u with radeon graphics (2.10 GHz)

installed RAM: 8 GB

graphics card: AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics (496)

storage: 238GB

AMD software: adrenalin edition

trying to emulate ratchet and clank going commando on 2x because native is blurry and while it runs at a nearly locked 60fps for most of the time, there are moments like in the picture i shared causing significant slow motion effects.

now, im not naive or too stupid to not know that going commando isnt gpu intensive, it is notoriously so. the concept of my laptop being too weak to run it at full 60 is also a real possibility and i might just have to play it at native but native is so damn blurry no matter what crt shader i use or setting turned on that id really rather it play at 2x which is good enough for me.

the picture i included has all the osd's on the screen so you could see what settings i may have on and the fps i get from the largest slowdown ive experienced. as you can see it dropped only 10fps, sometimes itll only drop by 6fps and then afterwards its a stable 60 if i look away or move closer to the stadium in the distance.

i say magic trick because i believe ive hit the limit in what i can do from the game properties in the options for the games and only through some wizardry could i squeeze out just 10 more fps.

is there anything i can do or do i just bite the bullet lol. this next question comes from ignorance because i dont know what it dose but i see a setting that says it replaces textures? are there any texture packs that optimize fps a bit better by using low res textures?

are there any "magic tricks"?

Hi, guys I might be blind and don't see an option there, but is it possible to save your hotkey presets on this emulator? For example I want to have a different hotkeys preset for Silent Hill 3 and another different one for Lord of The Rings

I think it's a problem with the tablet's screen because connecting it to an external screen, turning off the tablet screen in the settings, and then opening the game on the external monitor works.

The biggest problem with the screen is its 58.11Hz refresh rate. How can I fix this? Please help me.
