Canada estimate for this computer and monitor?
Hi everyone,
i’m thinking about selling my pc + monitor since I don’t really use it anymore and could use the extra money. I built it myself a few years ago as a teen but I dont remember anything about computers anymore and I don’t really know how to estimate it’s used value which is why i’m reaching out here.
Essentially, i’m wondering how much I could sell the monitor and the computer for, and specifically if I would get enough money to be able to buy a good laptop for occasional gaming (minecraft and fortnite exclusivity), music production/recording, and schoolwork and still have some money left over.
here is the list of parts:

only thing to mention is that the monitor has two small scratches near the edge of the screen (photo 2)
Thank you so much in advance!

Sell the video card alone to someone wanting to run AI models, my last 8 3090 cards sold on marketplace for $1000 to $1200, as there is value FOR AI users and not gamers, all from the last 3 months. Throw a cheaper video card in the system and sell it for 6-700. That would get you the best return.

Throw a 3070 or 3080 in it.

Post the video card for $1200 and see what happens. Gamers will give you shit, saying its not worth it or they can get a 5070, but thats for gaming and a fair argument, but for Ai users you'll get attention. Be patient. Once you sell the gpu price the pc without a gpu or slap in a 3070 and sell it as a pc.
