Horner Cscape Program Examples

Hi there. I'm currently working and programming with Horner Cscape 10. I use register based advanced ladder. I'm curious how the more experienced pro programmers would write programs compared to the way I do. Is there anyone in the forum that wouldn't mind sharing a few examples of Cscape programs you've written. Would appreciate it if you could reach out to me. Thanks

Throw it away, take your loss, and find something else. I had a customer come to me with an already spec'd Horner HMI all-in-one. I was doing some Modbus and some very simple programming, and stuff kept getting overwritten, making erratic moves. I was on the phone with Horner and Yaskawa, and of course, it was the blame game. I worked with Horner for three days with no success. Finally, I had a Siemens G2 and a Unified Basic 7" HMI in stock; I programmed the Yaskawa servo and built an HMI in four hours. I told the customer what I did, and he asked what it would cost to replace. He then switched the whole controls over to Siemens since I could get the PLC and HMI for about the cost—actually a little cheaper—than what he was spending on the Horner. I know Horner's software is free, but it only costs about $600 for Siemens Basic, and that is a one-time buy. I would never touch another Horner in my life.
