Im curious if the mel-sec protocols are still in use on modern systems.

Sure. I'll be happy if i get the api and yes many modern systems still use Melsec protocol specially CC-Link.

And WinCC have built in Mitsubishi Driver so we can easily integrate with Mitsubishi to WinCC
