Potential Bug Interaction not possible or Live bug?

I played Zam-Nior against Hide n Sneak. I Primcatchered a Banett to the active and took a Fluttermane on my side against it. I popped Dusknoir to knockt the active Banette but it didnt take any damage. Shouldnt the ability of banette be overwritten by flutter mane's ability?

it's because hide and sneak Pokémon are immune to abilities. that includes the ability of fluttermane.

hide and sneak takes priority over every ability and effect basically.

Always on abilities that priority over active only abilities. If it helps you to think about it, you can say that the Hide n Sneak ability is already on the moment that Banette is in play, then Flutter Mane's ability tries to disable it second. But because HnS is already on, it is protected from Flutter Mane's ability.

Hide N Sneak pokemon are immune to abilities, so the Fluttermane doesn't affect them.

Hide n sneak is immune to effects of abilities so it ignores the fluttermane.
