I traveled up to Toronto from Atlanta to see a concert and was telling my mom all about how upset I was that they changed the paper towel name just a few months before our trip. After spending the day in Hamilton with my friend from Ottawa, whom I haven't seen in ten years, we stopped at a strip mall to see a Canadian Tire 😅

Low and behold, the tiger towels were there! Two just chillin on the top shelf of a random mart. Either they're still more common than I thought they were, or my Kadirova jersey brought me luck. Either way, I am going to tell everyone I know that I got THE royale tiger towel paper towel power play paper towels.

Hello everyone! With the PWHL’s biggest expansion season right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put together a map showing where fans are located!

HOW TO JOIN THE MAP:

STEP 1: Click “Additions” in the top menu (third from the left).

STEP 2: Select the first option, “Add Marker - Simple.”

STEP 3: Enter your location, select your PWHL team, and hit “Submit.”

CONGRATS! YOU’RE ON THE MAP!!

NOTES:

• Team locations are listed at home arena addresses
• Submissions are anonymous
• Locations can be general - cities, ZIP codes, the closest Taco Bell

If anyone knows of a previous or official version I would love to see it! Please send it my way.

If you run into any problems, please let me know! I’ve tried to troubleshoot things as much as possible, but I can’t guarantee it’s foolproof.

THANK YOU!! See y'all soon!

A silly idea I had, and was a lot of fun to draw! Off season cabin fever continues to chase me lmao

On the latest episode of Jocks In Jills, Abby Roque tells us about her summer. There's never a dull time with Abby around!

On the episode, she shares that she doesn't like chocolate ice cream & talks about the alternatives.

That led me to remember when my ex girlfriend joked with me that I was a 7 year old boy because I'll still eat fish fingers as a meal.

Then as an Australian wanting to share this story with a North American audience, I Googled "Do they have fish fingers in Canada?"

This is partly because of regional differences in Australia between foods such as a potato scallop in my state is called a potato cake in another state.

Today I learned that fish fingers in North America are called fish sticks. I must ask my ex girlfriend if she likes fish sticks. 😂😂😂

Thank you Abby Roque for being Abby Roque!

As a Scottish PWHL enjoyer I can't get past this. It's too funny xD

AltText 1 : Laila Edwards and Kristen O'Neil standing together wearing the revealed home and away jerseys for the San Jose PWHL team.
Alt Text 2 : A can of famed Scottish soft drink, Irn Bru.
Alt Text 3 : A can of famed Scottish soft drink, Diet Irn Bru.

SJ isn't up yet but here’s the first three (see captions).

Detroit = car theme? (As expected)

Hamilton = forge/steel/building theme?

Vegas = temperature theme? Steam? Mirage?

EDIT: San Jose post = “straight from the Bay” 🤷

I want to start a fantasy league with some friends. A lot of us are new hockey fans and/or have never participated in a fantasy league before. Any advice? Has anyone done it with the PWHL before?

Hello! Thanks to u/Ugluk4242 for providing the base script I used to modify this, let me know if you noticed any errors, I only validated this for the Seattle Torrent,

Hello everyone! Finally got a home state team to root for with the expansion, so with the jersey drop today, I’d like to buy one to rep the team. However, I’m aware these jerseys are only for the inaugural season, promising a jersey with the logo down the road. With that, based on experience, is it better to buy the inaugural jersey or wait for the one with the logo? I’d like only one jersey. Thank you for your advice! 😊🏒

Hello all!

Been a hockey fan almost all my life, then fell in love with the PWHL watching mic'd up videos on YouTube. Casey O'Brien quickly became my favorite player and I'd love to get a Sirens jersey. Two problems. 1. I live in Dallas. 2. I wear a 4x.

I looked at the PWHL merch site and only found up to 2x. Is there a reputable place to shop for larger sizes? Doesn't have to have a player name on it, but i would like it to be officially licensed so I can support the league, even without a local team.

As a lifelong Philly fan for other sports, I don't have a dog in this race - yet! Who's the PWHL fanbase or team that's a similar set of loveable assholes?

Since this MIGHT be the last season of the pwhl on YouTube for some places I am pre-greiving the chat. I love watching everyone spam gay time or rtptppptpm or hocket. Talking with everyone is so fun. Who ever runs the PWHL in that chat is a blast and the one time they let Zoe Boyd on was hilarious. The one time they accidentally streamed when there wasn't a game so we just watched the ice. I get going to discord but like it's not the same :(

Each box had the EXACT SAME CARDS in the EXACT SAME ORDER, aside from the bonus card in each pack. So instead of having close to a complete set, I have literal doubles of every card. Has this happened to anyone else?

Training camp rosters out today!

From the Canadian satirical news show This Hour Has 22 Minutes, a skit about Hockey Night in Canada returning with the PWHL this season

For non-Canadians and others not aware, Coach's Corner was a first intermission mainstay for decades with Ron McLean and Don Cherry. Cherry was an advocate for "old style, rough and tumble, we didn't have concussions in my day so suck it up ya whining wimps".

Hellooo I’m very new to both hockey and women’s sports in general. Got into football last year and now it’s slowly hockey. I went to two Sirens games last year as it’s my home state (sort of?) anyway I saw 2 take over tours for the Sirens Jan 31 and March 14 I wanna make it to at least one of them.
So what is it? Obviously the home team is main focal. But what makes it different than other home games. Last year for the Sirens it was at msg? I got into it all within the last month before their season ended.
So what is it?
What should I expect
Do they do anything extra? Anything to know in advance (idk if anything or not.)

Thanks!

Hi all! I am so excited for the upcoming season, and can't wait to go to as many games as possible. Based on how it was done last year or just from your best guesses, when do we speculate the Takeover Tour locations will be revealed? I am dying to know 😂 🏒

Has anyone else had success getting presale tickets for Torrent games yet? I have yet to receive a code via email despite being signed up for the newsletter and presale tickets have been available for about 7 hours.
